lol, coulda used this when the season(s) started but anyway, with this if your opponent doesnt have a router or isnt on aim you can talk with them at halftime and etc

This can be used to communicate during the game.

PLEASE, do not abuse this to the point where we actually have to make a rule about when it is appropriate to text your opponent.

Dont use this to complain that you were "jobbed by ea" or to text that some luck play was "bs" iyo.

Nole...you could always send messages/chat while playing games. This just makes it a silly chatroom.

you could send messages via the inbox thing...this is more of a "chat"

its threading the messages like a chatroom so you dont have to open anything.....

i now what you're saying but its diff enough to warrant a post as it does make in game communication a little bit easier.

(plus i have my notification for receiving messages and seeing people log on and off, turned off....nothing more annoying than seeing that shit all the time)

It is still just as big of a pain in the arse as sending a message via the inbox. Worthless feature IMO.

I turned the messages off the day I got my PS3. I hate "soandso has signed on" popping up every other minute.

Figure it out yourself.

Well, F it, I'll tell you; I'm feeling helpful this evening.

You go to "settings" on the XMB and then scroll down to "system settings". Click on it and go to "notification messages" and choose "do not display". Done.
