CoD 4 was just flat better

I threw in CoD 4 and played a little offline last night. The game is just so much more polished and better in comparison to World at War.
Just makes anticipation for Modern Warfare 2 that much greater.

There are a lot of things I like better on COD4 than COD5, but it goes both ways for me. Although I am excited for MW2, which will be great.

I like the COD5 maps better. Much more variety. However, the new maps suck a dick. I like what COD has going with the double developers. Hopefully after MW2 we can move on to a different war. Vietnam seems like a winner to me.

This thread inspired me to buy COD4 on ebay for $33...I'm safely assuming it's well worth it. I loved COD:WaW and still play online, I'm hoping for a deeper campaign and getting primed for COD Modern Warfare 2!

campaign isnt any longer on COD4....
if I HAD to decide....COD4 was better....W@W just seems more laggy than COD4 was....I just got SOOOOO sick of COD4's domination spawn point issues

The campaign wasn't longer, but I do think it was better and more compelling.
I'm really tempted to start playing online again. Would be fun if we could get a few guys that wanted to give that a shot one night.

If somebody would ever get their PS3 back we could get this thing going again……….
I think it is double XP this weekend. I jumped on and played a bunch of FFA last night. Went 30-2 on Dome.
