Who all has registered, and what teams did you pick?

Looking through the numbers, a few interesting things pop out in terms of sportsmanship ratings:

1) Florida is ALREADY at -222,443 points! I give them till the end of the weekend to top a million point deduction. Texas is #2 at -118,559....but when you think about most of the online players who use those teams, who is surprised?

2) On the other side of the ledger, the team that are at the top of sportsmanship:

Clemson
Georgia Tech
South Carolina
USF
Duke
WSU
VT
Southern Miss

Not counting WSU, you have three teams from the Carolinas, one each from Miss, Georgia, and Virginia. Guess that "southern gentleman" stereotype might even hold true in online gaming.

3) Trivia.....OSU, Michigan, Florida, and FSU are top four. Kinda interesting to see those rivalries picking up even there.

jsense they will be -1000000 in a week. They were -55 000 yesterday and jumped -150 000 in a day, outrageous!

I have no clue what the season showdown even is, so i guess i wont be signing up, lol.

Go into the game's main menu, register for whatever team you want to represent, and then all your games (online, offline, dynasty, etc) will count towards your school.

You use preseason to get your team ranked as high as you can (LSU is top 20 right now, UK is 31st), and then during the season, your school's reps will compete with your school's real life opponent's reps (i.e. week 1, UK faces Miami OH). It's just somethin extra to do that, other than signing up, requires no extra effort on your part.

And it also shows which school has the cheesiest fans (Florida). Running up the score is a brutal one; I threw a PASS in the 4th quarter, on 3rd and like 20, a two yd pass....and I got docked 100 points for "running up the score".

Just another bell and whistle to track certain things regarding sportsmanship,skills, stuff like that.

I signed up the other day when my internet was down and it adds a cool little logo by your name.

Pretty cool to me, plus it also adds points to that score in unranked games as well!

Go to seasonshowdown.easports.com and do the trivia.

Your highest score each day goes towards your school's total.

And it helps....I got a high score today of 1075....and UK's total so far is a little over 11,000

OSU has like 45,000 so far.

You get points for ANY game you do (even the Road To Glory stuff)....but it all goes towards your school.

Now, if you use your school, you get a loyalty bonus point allotment; and if you win with a lesser school than the one you faced, you get an upset bonus. That's how Michigan is near the top, because they're not ranked.
