play setup....

In the rare instances I have used Play action I will wait until the play is setup however more often than not it's an interception. Play setup is a load of shit! I like some of the gimmicks in the new game but play setup so far is not one of them. I get burned more often than not when i decide to use it. Off my soap box.
I do really like this game though...possibly the most fun version since 04.

same...i had someone set up at 100%...ran the play in the PERFECT situation....everyone was as covered as normal.
was very anti-climatic.
wonder if it works better offline or was intended more for use agaist the cpu

negative....I had the run game just pounding this morning on heisman vs. the cpu. I had it setup perfectly with a second or third and short so i run the pa and it gets intercepted bc the cpu in its infinite wisdom comes out in a cover 4

I had a little success with it on screen passes. I don’t know if I would have had the same success without the setup being there. I was playing Nole and he is usually downfield interfering with my WRs instead of watching the RB. Dirty fucking cheat.

the way i see it, set up is a guatantee and thats perfect otherwise it would be a gimmick that I would want to ban. However, it has worked for me on a few occasions. But, not necissarily on PA either. theye are plays that set up screens and WR jet plays etc that I seem to have the most succss with.
Kepp on trying, it will work like its intended. Just dont depend too much on the PA. Specially against a user.

I've got 2 beefs with this feature... #1 - everytime I've managed to get it over 50%, I get sacked by the DL on the PA anyway. #2 - it's tough to build up the setup, because you have to have actual success with the linked play. Just running the play and getting 1-3yds gives you a very minimal boost.

I've rarely had an instance where the WR was covered well. They always have the seperation, the issue is just getting the time to throw the pass, with all of the corner speed rushing that I've seen and my lines falling apart on the play action.

A green box will go around the play and flash "SET-UP!"

i enjoy the game to get everything set-up, but i've yet to run a play with it full.
I think the highest i got was 62%, but i don't understand the best way on setting up plays because I basically run 90% of the snaps i take

I got a 100% a couple of times, had 3rd and short on two different occasions and threw a pick where the CB jumped the route. Oh well, I dont think this one works. Nice intent but it hasnt worked for me yet.

i think the play setup has less to do with how many times you run something than it does about how successful you are when you run the play. if i run a setup play, and it really works, the linked play that you hope to setup seems to jump to 100%. if i run the same play without success, little to nothing seems to happen.
