I'm getting a new phone (AT&T is my carrier), any ideas? I don't need an iphone, but was looking at another touch screen one, Samsung Eternity. Anyone have this?
don't listen. Trendon is a notorious Apple hater. As am I but I got the phone and jailbroke it so I feel as if I am a rebel on the inside.trendon wrote:Don't listen to him. Buy any LG or Nokia phone. LG Xenon is outrageously good if you like messaging. As a two-time Samsung owner, stay away.
You could COMBINE the experience these guys have with mobile phones and it would be half of mine.nick wrote:don't listen. Trendon is a notorious Apple hater. Iphone is great. Fuck the little things.
can your phone play Tiger Woods? or The Sims 3? Or Monopoly? Or soon Madden 10 and look fucking decent and quick?trendon wrote:You could COMBINE the experience these guys have with mobile phones and it would be half of mine.nick wrote:don't listen. iPhone is a very good phone. LG and Nokia make great phones. Samsung makes a great phone if you like to play three-card monte.
1. Mine can't but that is because I bought a $400 fucking brick even though it is more powerful than an iPhone spec-wise.nick wrote: can your phone play Tiger Woods? or The Sims 3? Or Monopoly? Or soon Madden 10 and look fucking decent and quick?
can your phone at the click of a button open as an Ipod which u can then minimize to do other things?
NOPE.
trendon my friend, you hate because you want to hate. Have you had an iphone and used it for more than a week? Until then hushtrendon wrote:1. 2. An iPod is the third-best mp3 device out there, so that's not saying much.
Nokia's E-series, while not touch-screen, is the best phone on AT&T
No and yes. Remember, I run a restaurant. For two years now, I've been playing with everyone else's. I love phones and play with everybody's. I am also a geek and have twenty years of experience dealing with Apple. They are a customer-last kinda company.nick wrote:trendon my friend, you hate because you want to hate. This is probably a dumb question, but what does "jailbreak" the phone mean?nick wrote:don't listen. Trendon is a notorious Apple hater. its legal to do. you basically get shit free. every app that cost, i get for free. Kinda like illegal downloads but the good thing is, it's not against the law yet, or wont be for a good 4-5 yearsDowning11 wrote:This is probably a dumb question, but what does "jailbreak" the phone mean?nick wrote:don't listen. I believe after you buy that phone ($99.00), your bill will be the same as it always has been with any other phone...assuming you already pay for internet/texting,etc..Downing11 wrote:What are you guy with iphones paying per month? If I get one, I know the wife will want one so I'll have 2 iphones and 1 regular phone (my mom's).
If you are just getting a regular plan:Downing11 wrote:What are you guy with iphones paying per month? If I get one, I know the wife will want one so I'll have 2 iphones and 1 regular phone (my mom's).
Yes.jsence2 wrote:Also, do NOT get the protective screen covers they sell at the ATT store. They suck. Get the Crystal Film, they sell it at the Apple Store. They aren't sticky, they use static cling, so you can wash them and re-use them. Two for $15.
