In my short time on this earth, I have NEVER seen a Quarterback at the the college level, or any level for that matter, pull the ball down and just prior to passing the line of scrimmage; and heave the ball to the sideline instead of taking what the defense gave him.

It is MY responsibility to account for all 11 of your offensive players and if I forget about the QB...that is my problem....you, as my opponent should not be limited from utilizing a very common part of the game of football.

Ive said it 100000 times, I will scramble with my QB if you continue to sit back and everyone is covered, cause well, INT's cause me to lose football games.

I will however throw it away if I am flushed by a pursuing DE and or rushing OLB/CB.

great post biilroy, i agree with you 100%. i had a game today with a fellow ndl guy, and we talked after the game and agreed on the same thing. he told me he dropped 8 guys, and said it was a no brainer to run. guys get docked for there offense playcalling, take a deep look in the mirrror and see what type of plays you are calling on defense before you dock people for running with the qb. why is a qb going to throw it when you have no pass rush and every guy running a route is double teamed.

great post billroy, and you guys can do the same against me. run forrest run if you have a lane. lets have fun and enjoy this game just like we watch on saturdays during the fall!


one more thing............CANT WAIT FOR VEGAS BABY ....VEGAS BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!( AS THE LITTLE GIRL IN THE CAR NEXT TO ME IS GIVING ME THE MIDDLE FINGER).......AKA FROM THE HANGOVER.
