I decided there is no way I'm playing these anymore with MW2 coming out in 33 days.

Gamestop had a coupon via email this week for an extra 30% trade-in on any two PS3 games. Combine that with the 10% extra you get if you're an Edge member there, and the current values for those two games, and Gamestop gave me $55 bucks in credit.

Free MW2 (basically) for two games that I probably would never go back to again. Sold.

Damn, thats a great deal right there.

33 days huh? That will be just enough time to hopefully get my team bowl eligible and tank the rest of the season.

Expires today, by the way. However, I think you can get an extra 25% trade-in credit as long as you put all the credit down on MW2 until the 25th, but I don't know if you can use that with two trades. That deal is listed here: http://www.gamestop.com/gs/specialty/tradeins/

Also, you can only get the extra 10% (making it 40% total) if you're an Edge member ($15 a year, includes subscription to Game Informer). I believe my Gamestop gave me $21 for CoD4 and $18 for W@W, and with the extra 40% it was $54.60.

As for not getting into games, I'm hoping the problem is solved by leaving W@W and getting into MW2. Never really had that problem with CoD4.

I’m pretty much done too. I might play a little 4 but it’s break time before MW2 consumes my life.

We try not to think about the servers and how stuffed they are going to be.

The servers will be solid right away IMO. They have to be prepared for it they know that there will be a very large number of people on. It is the ps3 though so it may get shafted and have the 360 server running smooth.
