Dole and I have attempted many times to connect- we have gotten as far as the "team selection" screen but we have never gotten past it.

This looks to be a problem that we cannot overcome- we have troubleshot from both of our ends and no dice.

I am not sure if our schedules can be adjusted, but since there are 3 or 4 teams yet to play a game, can a swap be made with comparable teams?

We are at our wit's end. Please advise

did you guys try to use Nevada as the home team?

and is is safe to assume you are meeting in the WEST room and not in a created room?

yes, we tried that in both west1 and a user made room (NDL)- we tried with both he and I being the home team.

And for the record- my setup is as follows.

Modem directly connected from the wall to the PS3- to other workloads into or out of the modem.

I can honestly say that I have never had a connection problem to this extent ever. In chatting with Dole, he was just a dumbfounded as I was- and a bit more frustrated.

Do either one of you have other computers connecting to the interwebz when you are trying to get it in? You may have to close those connections on the other computers.

Dole, for some reason I am thinking you are in a college dorm. Is this true? if so are you sure nobody is trying to ride off your internet?

I have tried wireless and hard connection.

we have tried every room and him being home instead of I. We just dont seem to connect

I use to have this problem a lot. Do either of you have the dreaded NAT 3 connection when you do a connection test? If so, that's where I'd look. Since I finally got mine to NAT 2, I have yet to have any issues connecting anymore.

Dole needs to shut off all his Porn and Body Shaving sites so you don't have all of this interference



One thing I notice for real though that in the past, I had better connections with people when the person who was the home team got into the room first. I don't know why, but it worked for me.

This was last year's version, but maybe it will apply. I could never connect to my friend in a lobby game of any sort. Yet, we were able to play in an online dynasty game. Just food for thought.

I just know this is the exact same problem I fought since the 09 version, and especially since I went to DSL.

I've done everything imaginable trying to get connected....direct connection, etc.

All my problems were the result of the NAT 3, I would look into that first. Even if you don't have problems connecting to other people. Everyone kept telling me that the only time they ever had problems was in games against me, so I knew it was my problem.
