Re: Red Dead Redemption
Game is awesome, but trying to pick up whores sucks. When you walk up to a woman, your guy says that he is a married man. Besides that downfall, the game is pretty sweet.
Re: Red Dead Redemption
I'm done with helping fucking whores. I was riding around on my horse and some bitch starts yelling at me to help her. So, being the nice guy that I am, I stop. The next thing I know, that bitch throws me off my horse and takes off on it. As she was riding off, she basically calls me a dumbass and laughs.

I had a guy do that to me out in the middle of nowhere; I shot his ass. He had $23 on himHoos wrote:I'm done with helping fucking whores. When you get done killing the guys at Twin Rocks (or whatever it is), save a camp outside it, and then go back; you'll find rattlesnakes everywhere (skins are $6 each), and in the hills to the left side of the compound, you'll find a ton of bighorns, wolves (those are HUGE money, although they will sneak attack you as you go to skin a dead one), and deer. If you're lucky you'll encounter a mountain lion or two; you'll hear their growl and if you do, get ready, cuz the bastard will attack you even if you're on a horse. They're big money, but they'll bull-rush your horse, knock you off, and maul you.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Yea, the game is a blast. I've been doing a lot of the small stuff. I want to 100% the game so I've been working on some of the tedious stuff and not the main story line as much.
For instance, it took me about 20 throws to get a ringer. I also hog tied one of my bounties and got paid large! I've also done numerous of the stranger missions.
I will probably work on some of the sharp shooter stuff tonight. I need to shoot 5 birds from a moving train and kill some wild boar.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I've done about 8 stranger missions. Some are pretty dumb.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Did you do the one where you had to pick the flowers? The ending of it was pretty damn funny.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Yeah I figured it would be something strange in the end.
Re: Red Dead Redemption
You guys done any of the "games"?
I've won three rounds of Texas Hold-em ($25 to win $100, not a bad way to spend ten minutes) and I've lost twice at the knife-hand game (can't remember the name of it, it's at an outside table).

Yea, I got one of the Trophies for the horseshow toss. I've played a little bit of poker. I will revisit that later when I need money.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I had a guy try that on me last night. I lassoed him, hogtied him, threw him in a river and shot him in the head as he was sinking. Fucker!! There was no knock on my honor at all. I also hogtied a guy that was carrying off a whore and threw him in a river and just let him sink to the bottom.Hoos wrote:I'm done with helping fucking whores.
