If you're lucky you'll encounter a mountain lion or two; you'll hear their growl and if you do, get ready, cuz the bastard will attack you even if you're on a horse. They're big money, but they'll bull-rush your horse, knock you off, and maul you.
Are we sure this game isnt called Oregon Trail?

If so, Im in.
I don't remember gambling, hookers, or robbing banks in the Oregon Trail I played in elementary school

Plus I haven't gotten dysentery yet

FUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I had a guy try that on me last night. I lassoed him, hogtied him, threw him in a river and shot him in the head as he was sinking. Fucker!! There was no knock on my honor at all. I also hogtied a guy that was carrying off a whore and threw him in a river and just let him sink to the bottom.
I may have just topped that....you HAVE to try this:

A guy was murdering a hooker in a town, and I couldn't stop him before he stabbed her to death. So I hogtied him, threw him on my horse, and made for the railroad tracks. I found one of the railroad splits (where it can go either way) and laid him in the center to make SURE he got run over.

Dude's body exploded, head went flying a good 20 feet in the air.

yea I think this will keep my interest until NCAA '11

I can actually play it w/o getting a headache after a little while. IDK why alot of these games do that, maybe cause I got some glasses cpl months back.

I stink at this game, but it is really good and fun to play. Recommend.

I love playing the online. It's similar to coop play with joining up with a posse. Fun just riding around and trying to take out other posses.

I think if you head southeast from Macfarland's Ranch towards Greenhollow, you will run into some before the river. I found three along that route yesterday.

Also, check out the map that came in the game; it shows animals where they have large populations. Another good region is along the river just northwest of Thieves' Landing.

There are some hilarious one liners in this game. I'm not going to give the entire quotes away because some of them are spoilers. But, some good ones so far.

Having a wet pecker
Not all he does on his knees
Reyes lines about his future peasant wife

I just had a pretty funny moment. I decided to go ahead and get the trophy for kidnapping a girl and throwing her in front of a train. So, I grab a whore and throw her on the tracks.

As I'm waiting for the train, one of those random events happens right next to me. A guy comes running out of the woods with 2 lawmen chasing after him. I'm like, fuck, this couldn't have been worse timing.

I shoot the fleeing criminal for the lawman and they walk over to me. They thank me and head off. They even walk right past the girl tied up on the tracks. You gotta love AI.

I have not played this game as much as I wish I could by now due to lack of time on my part, but how do you "tie up" people etc...Is that something that comes later in the game? or am I just missing it/not doing it yet?

One of the early missions at the ranch gives you a lasso. You can use it to lasso ppl and tie them up. You can also put them on your horse or drag them behind it. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to hell because I felt the need to drag a nun thru town.

where do you buy lasso's at?

I also had a funny moment with a random event. Guy calls me over screaming for help and I ride over to him
and before I could blink he threw me off my horse and rode off with it cusing at me. I tried to shoot him but he was a good distance away by the time I got up. I was in the middle of nowhere too. LOL!!!
