this isnt real life. lets stop having lame shit everyone hates about real life, likes injuries, so real. Its a fun sim. Im not really down for being so immersed i have 7-10 guys in AAA rdy to come up anytime one of my guys goes down for pissing the wrong way. If its not sim who cares. Like ive said before we dont have the ability to watch these guys and know that a player is made of glass. we have injury history and text.

I like the new rule. I would be in favor of turning injuries up if it didn't mean that guys would go from normal to wrecked after a couple of headaches. But we cannot control that so here we are

I am not sure what shel's issue is with this one either.
I can see some changes needing to be tested, like taking away the owners money they give. Did we test that out by simming a few seasons in a test league and see if it had any other impact on financials?
I am not saying we didn't, that is just 1 example I am giving.

Adjusting injuries doesn't need tested. There are possibly 2 outcomes:
1. It works and the frequency/number of injuries goes down
2. It doesn't work and the frequency/number of injuries stays the same.

I don't see any other negative impact by not testing this setting.

Niddler, you're ignoring a very obvious point #3 for some reason.

We messed up, we dont have enough injuries now. Before, we were in line with real life, and now it's laugh out low... something we would have known if we had tested it.

Judging by the first 50 games, the league will be in a shitty place with regards to injuries for the next 5 seasons. Not sure why we're denying that, it's so, the numbers don't lie.

Don't be foolish now and try to act like I'm saying this just cause... I made my case way back before it was decided, and it has been proven right. Injuries are now a complete joke and have very little relevance to the league as a whole.

But I think this would be classified "in your opinion" more than "WE screwed up". You think we should have more injures and be closer to real life scenario's. Others felt we needed less and didn't care about it being true to real life. How is this going to screw things up the next five years? We have less injuries? That's what the majority wanted...


And for the record, I'm trying to discuss/debate this. Not argue with you. Please bear that in mind when you respond.

Exactly, this is your opinion and not a fact. You think there are not enough, that does not mean it is screwed up. Most guys I have talked with like it better and I am in that group. We do not need the same injuries as real life. We are not real life, we can not manage things daily like real life. It is not like lowering injuries has lowered the importance of building a good team. I think overall the league likes it much better and it obviously is still impacting teams very much.

I would say it is a win for the league, you say we fucked up. Both of those our opinions

Um, we knew we were pretty close to real life before, so you didn't expect injuries to go down when setting the injury setting to lower?

That is my point about not needing it tested. It is doing what we expected it to do, lower the amount of injuries.

To Billy's point, if we simmed 1 day at a time, I would like real life injuries, but since we don't and we sim 7 days at a time, I like the lower amount of injuries, but this is my opinion.
If we simmed 1 day at a time and I could adjust things the way I want them when an injury occurred, then I would be all for higher amounts of injuries, that is why I voted for lower.
