I think it would be nice to know if it's 51% or whatever before we vote on something going forward.

Not a fan of getting over 50% then hearing something won't be passed for not getting enough votes.

Technically it didn't pass anyway. The final vote ended up being 10 Yes, 12 No after Corey called it. But I wanted to get my joke in before someone else did!

It was a joke that also had merit.

Meant as get rid of current system which awards a first round pick. I read the following from the manual and assumed it was implemented in full but apparently not.

So, yes eliminate comp picks until the proper CBA changes can be set.

Yup this is also true.

But point taken. I will need to update the original poll and also any subsequent polls created to determine how I feel if it’s majority or simply more votes wins.

If I'm not mistaken, we've had maybe 3-4 comp players total not be signed before the draft, right?

I feel like good players being left in FA really isn't as bad as it use to be. Just looking at the free agency class and the only guy that is good and didn't play in 2050 is Morgan Moore and that's because he's a team cancer.

2 years ago, I'm 100% certain we had only 1, I tracked it.

Last year, I'm not as certain but I kinda recall it being 3 or so guys.

In doing a lot more dropping in and random question asking, a huge majority of leagues do not have comp picks.

Figured a good time to bring it to our table considering our complaints about depth, FA pool usually being very good, and guys sitting on cash winning 50 games.

id also say it should be 60+% or 66%+ (2/3rd of league) for it to be approved imo.

also we know about 21-23 ppl will vote which is fine. take that into account with nos. if mia's like Bernie dont show i dont think they should count as a no.

Seems we may need to make a consistent measure of what an approval looks like as we all aren’t on the same page including myself when it comes to this.

i dont think it should be 51, but i also dont think it should be 75. 66 is 2/3 (20/30). easy # to monitor. 20+ yes is a winrar.

Don't care either way, but if we're making a change to 2/3, it should be 2/3, not 20+

well i also said every non vote is a no in my grandfathered rule that george brought up. so it would have to be 20/10 cause thats 30.

obv were not going by that rule (cause my side won - ha ha ha ha) so it can be 2/3

I mean Hank lost a comp pick to sign totally washed up Yuri Sanchez so guys will sign em #Greeksownthewest

I'd rather change the Injury settings to be realistic to force teams to add depth. It would arguably also force owners to sign more of these comp eligible picks to clean up this issue as well.
