i don't understand why this is such a heated discussion.
the conference commisioners get 3 points to ensure this league still runs. this isn't difficult people. without the conf commishes this league goes down the shit because it would be too much work for one person.
everyone here thinks they're an angel when it comes to gameplay, well new flash boys, everyone runs with a little cheese in their play. accept it. we all do, no ones perfect. well when they make a complaint, someone has to get an ear full for your bitching. and that's the commishes.
the simple fact they help the league stay afloat, while all you nitpicking annoying fucks take advantage of it, is breathtaking. I mean, lets be honest here, we're all like 20+ and complaining about a video game. I dare you to go to any convention and have this argument in public and not be the laughing stock afterwards.
everyone has this opinion and they all think they're right, but i dont see any of you running successful leagues or writing articles (uuaww excluded), so if you wanna earn some points do some motherfucking work!

Your points have all been heard and all of them are appreciated.
It may not seem like it but we really do from year to year (and on a smaller basis season to season) weight just about everything imaginable to KEEP the league great or modify it to MAKE it BETTER.
The bottom line is we have 120 guys. We will NEVER EVER EVER have 120 "happy" guys. Everyone is different. Everyone has different views on what is "fair".
What the NDL is, and what it has evolved to become at least everyone can agree....is the best online league out there.
The reason(s) for this is the initial setup, format and leadership and the 2nd part which has guided us though the move to Next Gen and beyond is the ability to modify and capture the idealism of MOST of the league.
Again, not everyone will ever be happy with any particular setup. This is the best that a group of guys that really have the NDL's future and best interest at hearts have come up with based on letting threads go way past their prime (like this one), and hearing all the different points of view.
Again, thank you to EVERYONE. We have read and will re-read all the post and take consideration in what everyone has said in keeping or changing formats.
One last thing. I've said this before but Mike, myself and AJ let these threads go for a reason. Jeff woulda squashed this back on page 1 and the overall "mood" of the league would probably feel better...BUT its liek being angry at a spouse and not telling them and letting it fester til it blows up to something irrecoverable.
We feel that by letting everyone get their issues off their chest it will them, help us who run the league and help the league as a whole.
So let no one take away that this thread was "bad" or that "the bitching is too much"
It is what it is and again, everyone is appreciated.
