right the kickers are horriable.. I recruited one 2 seasons ago, and the walk on was better then him. He since transferred to navy

Navy edges Boise 45-42

Ran a missed fg back for six right b4 half and then housed the kick-off to the start the 2nd.

Cal got off to a 10-0 and were dominating play going into the half. A furious comeback by WVU netted the Mountaineers 21 4th quarter points as well as a late 28-20 lead. A last ditch drive by Cal resulted in a 25 yard touchdown pass to HB Neil Tate and Tim Archer would walk the 2pt conversion in on a zone read. In OT West Virginia was faced with a 4th and inches and would go for the field goal, stunning the home faithful. Cal gladly took this outcome and a couple plays later FB Jeff Harris would punch it in from 4 yards out for the win.

Love/hate this new Air Force playbook I'm trying. Some really sweet plays as I'm trying to get my stable of RBs playing time, but find myself getting behind the eight ball fast on some drives

Bring on next week :)

errrrr I gotta play the #1 team in the land dont I ?

EDIT:::

In Coach Gonzales's 4th year at Buffalo this would be the year, he stated. "Nothing will hold us back from the MAC championship this year. We were the best team last year, but didnt get to prove it. But this year we will prove it, we will prove to the nation."
Well the scheduleing would allow them that chance Week 2 of college Football.. Buffalo would open up their season on the road in LA vs the #1 team in the land THE Southern Cal Trojans.

USC would open up the game with a quick impressive 8 play scoring drive that took less then 2 mins, when they found the wr on a fade route in the back of the end zone in man to man coverage. USC 7 Nill

But Buffalo didnt panic and gave the ball to their all american RB Jeffvon Gill , who would prove to be a workhorse, and after their own 2 min 8 play drive eventually ran it in from about 8 yards out for the tieing score 7 all. Tied 7 All

USC was not impressed as they immediately answered back scoring on just 4 plays after a long touchdown run by their standout back Moody. USC 14-7

Despite the natural reaction to panic, Buffalo didnt and promptly answered back sustaining a 11 play drive and capping it off with a 2 yard td run by Gill . 14 All

On the next drive of USC one of the pivotal plays of the game would happen, USC would drop back and see a streaking TE over the middle and go to drill it down into the red zone area of Buffalo when Team Captian Saftey Wright came out of no where deflected the ball in the area and then snatched off his own tip and return the int 79 yards for a touchdown. Buffalo 21 -14.... But wait
There is a flag on the play holding: touchdown ruled invalid but Buffalo ball at the 11 .

But that is ok Buffalos offense would capitalize even converting a huge 3rd and 12 pass play to keep the drive alive to move into USC territory .. Eventually scoring on another Gill run. Buffalo 21-14 going into the half

Buffalo would then add another touchdown in the 3rd quarter to make the lead 28 -14.

What was probably a questionable call of the day came when after USC scored in the 4th cutting the lead 28-21 with 2:58 left , instead of kicking the onside kick they kicked it off and Buffalo would kill the clock and add the go ahead touchdown capping a 35-21 win.

Player of the Game
Jeffvon Gill 32 atts 258 yrds 4TDs

Lost to Miami thanks to a missed FG. Was down 2 points and found myself on a 4th and 3 with 1 time out and a 50 yard FG to win the game. My asshole kicker misses his secong FG of the game and ruins a great game.

F'm Miami outrushed us 228 to 166 on 4 fewer attempts. Miami Junior David Reid did all the damage running for 207 on 26 attempts and 3 TDs.
