Bowling Green lost starting QB Schilz to injury for 6 weeks. The game was all but taken care of for the Falcons and the backups were coming in for the next series, but a late hit after a handoff to Alaboody proved the coaching decision was one play too late.

Both backup QB's carry the same last name, Shuler, and each bring very little talent or experience to field with them. The next 6 weeks will be a real test for Bowling Green.

(I'm gonna predict that the Falcons lose another key player soon, possibly Heisman hopeful Ali Alaboody.)

Today in the matchup between #8 Buffalo vs Akron, Buffalo All American Jeffvon Gill had a record setting day as he led the Bulls to a 52-14 Victory.

Jeffvon set a new single season school rushing record 305 yards, but not only did he set a new single season school rushing record. But Jeffvon Gill broke the NCAA career rushing touchdown record after running for 4 touchdowns; Gill set a new touchdown rushing record and counting at 74.

Previous record was held by standout Miami Hurricane Willis McGahee.

minn loses a heart breaker to michigan. I threw a pick inside my own 15yd line. Just a horrible read. Michigan got up ten and it was pretty much see saw after that, i d cut it to 3 then they would extend to 10. I had a chance at the end but just not enough time...GG to michigan, they called some really nice plays. Was using the safety on a 3rd and 5 they called a play action pass, thought they were looking at a reciever over the middle. Man to Man i m the help deep left, by me going after the middle route, A reciever came wide open as he put distance on closest defender....Td Michigan with 3 mins to play......
