Temp Fix for Invite FUBAR

For the millionth time. The invite thing is a Sony Psn problem not an infinity ward problem.

Sony is forcing the psn on these companies. It sucks. Its can't even hold a candle the the xbox party system.

how long should it take after accepting invite?

For me, the game loads, it says matchmaking, then going to party, but then I get black screen for a duration and I always end up shutting down cause I dont want to wait

After you log off and then back on, start the game again. Go all the way online and then accept the invite.

The blank screen is usually when you log back on and then accept the INV without launching the game.

I know because it happened to me.

This is correct. A guy from Insomniac games told us that Sony made them scrap the entire party system from RFOM and use the PSN for R2. Sony wants to integrate it into all their online games.

I really don't think it will be too bad once it's fixed. It's a couple of extra crap steps but fuck it.

From what I am reading this update is for the trophies problem. The invite update is supposed to go out on Friday.

Also, you may try out this fix for the invite screw up. Remove the person from your friends list completely, and then add them back. Once they are back on your list the invites work like they should normally.
This may or may not work...just something I read. It seems to fix the issue without making you sign out of the PSN each time you get an invite.

So do you guys know if you choose the "Join session" option will that put you on that persons team or just in the match period? Reason I ask is cause I found that wayy easier to join with somone than the "invite" option but I am not sure if it just randomly put me on his team or it was on purpose.
