Its really not, I mean we are in a football league and we give tips and tricks to other league guys on how to be better at NCAA, this game is really no different. We play to have fun, but we aint playing to lose either. We want to win every game we play. We have a pretty good system, it works, and we have fun with it.

Having new guys come play with a group of guys who have played for 3 years together a certain way is kind of like the NDL. You can play with us or not, plenty of other guys playing the game, so its not like your missing out. It just saves arguments from Hoos crying when we lose 2 straight and he starts pouting. There are just certain things over the years of playing the game that is annoying to us playing.

Its an open mike system Nick, if you are bumping Nelly, we cant hear the other 5 people in the room. Play your music all ya want, youll be muted which defeats the purpose of a headset to begin with which in turn hurts the team. Annoying as a can be trying to talk over someone playing music.

Hoos failed to mention ( or at least I think he did, I never read his full posts) why we never go for all 3 flags unless its a blowout or spawns flip due to an airstrike etc.... If one team has all 3 flags then the other team spawns are now random. If we give them their one flag, we know where they will be at and can pin them down.

Have you guys noticed the other team spawning at your flags even when you only have two flags? For instance you will have A and B, they will have C, and they still spawn at B? This seems to happen to me in every game....I can manage killing them off, but it just makes it a lot harder to keep them under control when the spawns still seem to be random. Thats something i think they need to fix

LOL, dont be frightened off. Look, this game is a blast no matter how ya play it. This is some heads up on how to get better at the game. Its funny, I always consider how our group plays COD the same way we play in the NDL. We arent gonna cheat, we play with a certain style, and we have a blast.

I guess the way Ill put it in to perspective is having a NDLer come in to the league and doing whatever he felt like he needed to do to win rules be damned or without regard to his oppt. Same for COD, we want to win, but we arent going to do things thats going to tick off our teammates that would be considered "Cod cheese".

Its a game, its a team game, if you have 6 guys doing their own thing, it dont work. this is what works for our group, Hoos and I are just giving some advice that has worked for us the past 2+ years and things that are annoying to deal with.

Airstrikes cause this, the game wont allow them to spawn in an Airstrike. After a little while, its like the game gives them a chance and gives them a better spawn.

Don't be scared off by these posts. The game is very simple. It's just confusing to new people because they don't grasp what we are doing right away. The 3rd flag is always confusing to them.

As Biffy said, the 3rd flag is like a carrot on a stick. So inviting, yet so dangerous. You take the 3rd flag and the random spawning will get you almost every time. Some of the opposing team will spawn by that flag and take it back. The other ones will respawn by a different flag and take it. You almost always go from 3 flags to 1 flag in a matter of seconds. That is the part you only understand from experience.

I just wanted to put some of this on the board so that new people would have some background to how we play Domination. I know it looks overwhelming and confusing but it only takes a night of playing to grasp it.

Just remember, B is the key to every Domination game. If we lose A, no big deal. We will spawn back at it and just take it. As long as we hold B the majority of the game, it's a win.

yeah, Hoos screamed at me too.....I get respawned by flag "C" (the third flag) so i just go over and get it......Hoos says Buckeye what the hell are you doing over there!!!! hahaha!
