So It's Been A........
week since the release! What do you all think of the game after playing for a week or so?Online or offline.I love the game overall! I played the 3rd person domination yesterday and it was a bit wierd playing like that but it was fun. There are a few maps that I absolutely hate and I don't know the names right off my head right now but they are one big Camp Site!!

Unreal and one of the best games...EVER.
Addiction is unreal with this game. I get on thinking 2 hours tops and next thing I know its 3 or 4 because its nonstop action.

I really, really like it. There are so many pros to name that I couldn't list them all but, generally, the game is immersive, balanced, and exciting; there is always some sort of chaos following you.
The only negative I can think of is the first one I had, the guns. They are all so similar in their capabilities and that isn't the game's fault, it is just technology. They did, however, do a good job with countering most of the perks. For heartbeat monitors, there is NINJA, etc.
I love most of the maps with Sub Base and Derail being my favorites. I like bigger maps. I fucking detest Rust and Scrapyard. I am hesitant about Highrise and Wasteland. I like bigger naps because they force everyone to bring a little something to the table. The tiny maps are all fuckfests and the wideopen ones like the two I mentioned are just sniper parties.
Maps like Derail are perfect; a little of something for everyone with snowbanks, buildings, clearing, and tight corners.
As for the modes, I still dislike Headquarters but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Demoliton. I especially love when you are down to one bomb site and the second one just becomes chaos for the last three minutes. Make sure you have your sentry gun on Killstreak if you play demolition.
Domination has been improved in one way that I enjoy: A and C are not necassarily equidistant. I get tired of everything in video games being perfectly balanced. It's like the NDL! Everyone touts about how this is just for fun, and then everyone complains when things aren't perfectly aligned for them! STFU!
The auxiliary weapons and equipment are varied and well done, too.
The game is just exciting. There are bad games, good games, and great games, but few are just plain as exciting as MW2.
