thats because whenever a high ranked team wants to play a cupcake, they always offer to travel on the road and they win 90% of the time so the #s are skewed a bit IMO

Maybe there is somewhere else to allocate that point. Maybe a group incentive? Every time we receive 90 votes in a poll, awards, etc ... everyone gets a point.

I think it was around because in previous versions HFA was available and made it tough for on lower rated teams than it does now. Now it seems to be more set on the composure of the QB.

I'm gonna lose OU by having 3 losses and my non conf is Michigan, Penn State, Georgia Tech, and Clemson. If I go 9-3 (win out) it'll be a fuckin miracle but I'll be fired cause i didnt win goal, win div, win conf, and my A+ rating is like 97.5. But in real life, if OU went 9-3 and had those 4 non conf, there is absolute NO way the coach is getting canned.

I'm not complaining, i'm just saying this is why those road points are vital. If I'm OU and I HAVE to beat you, then I'm playing at your place.

Without looking at the numbers at all, Id guess you could go 8-4 and be fine with good coach reports and participation

Beat your rivals. Like I have alluded to before, in a league I ran back in 2005, at some schools you could almost single-handedly save or lose your job if you fared poorly against your rivals. It is somewhat like that here.

All in all you need to come up with about 17.5-20 points in the Season Success area as I will assume you will be at or near 40's (100%) in participation and coaching reports. Beat Oklahoma State and you keep your job as that will be worth either 20 or 22 points, depending on where you are ranked. If you lose to OSU, then you need a fucking miracle to keep your job; as you should with a four-loss season and no wins against rivals.

why would you even worry about rivals.....im pretty sure with tulane you could lose all 12 games, not vote in a single poll, skip all coaches report and get all '0's on your coaches report and still have enough points to keep tulane.

trendon your system is flawed. u r implying (or so i read) that season success is a whole, when its merely a fraction.

If I get 40 for the 2 rival wins, woopty do thats 40/100 or 4 or 8/20.

plus i have 95% right now (gonna kill 2 people in particular to read that as they are on my balls) so thats like 39

80/80 + 8 = 88 not 97.5.

I dont mind losing OU, too much pressure and I'm way too shit to ever compete. I'll let someone good have them. I want a MAC team
