Season 3 Farm Ghost

Hey guys this is ank, Im debating on running another season of the farm or not.
There is maybe 4-5 guys that could make it in the NDL, and dont want to just leave them hanging down there.

If I can get 3-4 farm ghost to help me out I will run another season. We will probley drop down to 16 teams or so. and each one of you will run a conf. and help out.

All that is needed from you is to play ALL your games and do a scouting report after the game.

Last season was nearly impossible cause only 2-3 ghost stayed active and did reports. The reports are the main objective here, its hard to bring solid coaches up when AJ asked for a coach and I have maybe 1 or 2 scouting reports on them at best.

This is sort of off-topic, I hope you don't mind. Every time I see a post about the farm, I grow angry that there isn't a way to play I-AA games online. I am unsure who is at fault - the NCAA or EA - but it annoys the fuck out of me. That'd be the perfect "farm".

i agree, that would be cool if you could use 1-AA (FCS) teams in the Farm. I hope the farm continues... I just wish I had the time to help you Ank.

Same number of games per week? Would a pacific coast time schedule make it hard to get games in with the guys?

Yea its 2 games per week.
Its just like the NDL...some guys are up and looking for their games and others are hard to contact.

Ive got 3 spots filled...need 1 more maybe 3 more...just depends on how many farm guys come back...right now I got 14 with 5 apps. out. If I can get 18 farm guys we will go with 6 ghost and 6 four team divisions.

i'll get with you later Ank but we have some recruiting ideas we've been kicking around which may result in a big uptick in numbers

starting with 16 for the 1st season is cool but it may grow quickly if all goes according to plan...we'll talk more this spring/summer though

It's not said enough but HUGGGGGGGGGGE FUCKING thanks for running the farm. It's not an easy job and you dont get much credit in the grand scheme of things but its one of the most important aspects of NDL and I know it takes a shitload of time.

I was talking to shell this morning about the farm. Like I told him there is about 5-6 guys that could ( with some help) make the NDL cut.

But honestly the hardest part of the farm...is you play guys that don't know or understand the rules (moderation is out the door) then come back and play a str8 NDL guy.
It really effects your gameplay....in the farm your trying to make a quick ass passing read..cause you got about 2 seconds to get the ball off.


On the other hand I have filled all the farm spots I need.

Thanks again to all that PMed and applied...The guys that didnt get picked up...I will definitly keep you in mind..as last year the ghost in the farm dropped to about 3 active guys after week 4 or 5.
