This is the best time and best part of the NDL in my opinion.

Draft time can not be beat and that is my favorite part of the NDL for me, not dynasties.

Scouting teams, checking out rivals, conferences, playbooks, mixing crap up. The point system that is in place is so bad ass and such strategy involved makes it such an awesome aspect of the league that no one else even comes close to replicating.

Agreed. You should do all of that work, give me your list of 4-5 teams and I'll take whoever is left.

..only to end up picking an undermanned Pitt or Northwestern on a whim with a 5 second decision as the room gets impatient and starts cursing you

Totally agree.

Or picking a team that wasnt even on your list and you never even scrimmed with (Ole Miss) and tell yourself the entire time up to the draft, "stick to your guns, go small and set up for next year" Never happens.

I had Ohio State for three seasons, could of kept them for probably two more.......who knows. But wanting to try a different school is interesting. I keep hope of getting my school someday....CLEMSON, as I enter the draft each time thinking Veni will leave them......... I have had high draft picks, but Clemson is never available. I find it hard to stay in one place.

Man we have a lot in common. It was Veni that I let Texas go to since I wanted someone to win a BCS with them and I know I dont have the skills to. Then he f'd al lthat up. Big red hasnt let go of Texas and now Im stuck with 3 top 8 picks and not a sign of my Horns around.

Now that Veni has a stangle hold on Clemson hes F'n you up..

By the way Dole, DRiccio had Kansas in season 2 because I played him that season. Not sure who he had after that but he def had UCONN in season 4 cause we played again when I was the Louisville.
