Study: Most XP/Score

Post by trendon »

I am working on collating data that I have collected on the results of carious Modern Warfare 2 games. The main goal is to find out which game offers the highest average experience (and match bonus) for those looking to level up quicker. Which mode do you think is the best?

Yeah, which sucks for me because I don't fuck around ... I run right to the objective and, ultimately, get shot from afar by a rocketed grenade.

There is a massive difference in the utility of both. It takes about 3-4 seconds to get the rocket launcher ready to fire and another second to aim and it also takes up an entire loadout slot. I am noticing that the people who use the grenade launchers not only get the attachment, but also bring the Thumper with them, giving them four shots that they can get off in about nine seconds.

Mind you, I have no problem with grenade launchers - and that goes back to my initial observation that there is very little bottom-line performance difference in the weapons due to the advances in technology - but it can't even be compared to the AT5.

Was automatically unlocked for all to use in COD 4, only noobs used it, now its unlocked really early as well and is the perk of choice for no-talent ass clowns. I understand using it to get 25 kills with it to unlock the shotgun attachment and get your xp for it, but after that move the hell on.

Didn't search and destroy used to be the highest if you were halfway decent?

Thats the only time I use it is to get the points from the challenge.I was actually using it yesterday cause I had just prestiged and this kid got mad cause I stopped his "nuke" streak and he and his buddy were talking afterwards cause the buddy got the nuke and that other kid was pissed at me cause I "nube tubed"him it was fucking funny!! I honestly don't like using it but when I see guys that are pretty high leveled plus using a noob tube on a map it pisses me off and I start using one too to piss them off.

Also I never really took stats like this but out of the game types I have played it seems as if Domination has always given me the most points/xp.

There are about 4-5 guns Ill use it on till I get the challenge done. I like the nice 10k worth of points for unlocking all challenges with a gun. Just did it with the tar and pretty close with ACR and M16.

This is really half the story, the quickest way to rank up now is through challenges, guns, and perks. A lot of those point totals are really close, now its a matter of bouncing around all of those guns and perks to help out.

I agree! I just really started to focus on the challenges and get as much points I can to get that rank.Although some weapons I just won't fuck with cause I am better off using a gun I like than wasting my time with some.

Also whats up with the FMJ? Is that a big waste of time or what to try and get that challenge? 15 fuckin kills with it attached and none register as an FMJ kill?WTF? Am I doin somethin wrong?

For that FMJ challenge you probably need to kill people through walls. The FMJ is basically this game's deep impact.

Yeah it’s the toughest part of the challenges by far. I cruised through all the Barrett challenges in less than a week until I got to FMJ. Then it took me about two weeks to get through it. I’m currently stuck on this challenge with the M4 and M16 right now too. I want to go prestige but I also want to get the titles for these guns first. Shooting people through windows counts as a penetration kill so you can rack up quite a few just by hanging around unbroken windows.
