I just bought the RockBand Special Edition this afternoon. It isn't RockBand 2, but was told by a friend, that if you could find a Rockband set, there is no reason to get the more expensive versions. Is this true? Now all I need are pointers on how to build up the music library. Help a brother out here fellas?
Reason I got it, was because my wife played it and she loves the singing parts...lol

The instruments are all basically the same, except you won't get the wireless guitar, I think.
You also won't get the songs from RB2, which aren't that great anyway.
Basically, just fire up the game, go to the Music store, and you can see a list of the songs and download whatever you want, as long as you have a credit card saved on the PSN.
