Well, I guess what he means is that technically, being a racist means you think one race is superior to another race. So, by Trendon rooting for Gerhart and that hockey player, he's not doing it in such a way that he thinks that race is superior.

But it is pretty common nowadays to use the term racist in place of prejudice.

This is a very slippery subject. I personally live in a place where blacks have a 5:1 majority over everything else. Do I experience racism? eh, not really. I find if you respect a person, they will show the same respect that.

We were playing a Pro Club match and got matched up with some Liverpool fans; I called them "dirty Scousers" (they ARE Scousers, everyone from the Liverpool area is; it's like calling someone from the south a "hillbilly", there's nothing racist about it)....and one of them dropped the "n" bomb on me.
