Normally we would move it to archive admin (delete) but i'll leave it viewable for 2 reasons
#1 - to remind everyone (yet again) of the seriousness of breaking the 35 point rule
and
#2 - to give "I R Serious Cat" the life he deserves.
George think this thread should end on it's own Fruition

Re: 35 Point Rule (A Reminder)
Knubb is now the coach of the Washington Huskies, in the NDL Farm.
One of our NDLers, who's helping with the evaluating of our "farmers", was questioning the process taken, in giving Knubb this punishment/second chance. Here was my response:
The last time that someone in the NDL broke the 35+ point rule (before Knubb) was back last spring (our final season playing NCAA '08. Bushwicktarheels did the same as Knubb and beat his bowl game opponent, by more than 35.
The powers that be, at the time, looked at Bushwick's coach reports and general reputation in the league and also that Bushwick was very apologetic and begging for a second chance. They decided that completely kicking him out of the league FOR LIFE, was alittle extreme. They decided to give him the option of starting over, from the ground up, a.k.a. the Farm. I won't kid ya, he wasn't happy with that ruling because someone else had previously broken this rule and they were allowed to stay in the NDL, but punished by being stuck at the end of the draft order.
But Bushwick abided by the ruling and went to the Farm. When the NDL came looking for 2-3 fill-ins from the Farm, he was NOT chosen. So he did have to stay down here longer than he could have.
Alittle history for ya there, ha. I guess what I'm getting at is that we (the admins) are trying to come up with a consistent punishment for each time this occurs. Also, I am the first to realize that our waiting list to get into the Farm, let alone the NDL is DRIED UP. If the guy that fucks up has a good rep, it's better to punish than completely boot him, as we don't exactly have a long line of top-notch candidates ready to move in.
I understand your concern as that is a VERY important rule that I wouldn't even mind being lower (a 31+ point version, ha). I don't know what the hell he was thinking (actually, he wasn't and he never did give an excuse, other than apologizing) but him having to come down here and play some of the "questionables" that we currently have in the Farm, will be decent punishment for him and maybe even make him appreciate the NDL even more!
