For better or worse in 2011
For better or worse in 2011
So it is never too early to start NCAA 2011 predictions. How do you think your current team will be rated in 2011? Better or Worse? What teams do you think will be overrated/underrated?

I think they will have Ohio State ranked up there...Prolly an A.
I am just not sure how our season will be yet. I like to be optimistic, but just not sure.
We had a nice finish this year, but we will see.

UConn
in real life = preseason 25
in game = C
and there will be serious consequences to pay if this happens again... i may go protest in front of EA headquarters to get it changed

Re: For better or worse in 2011
Houston will be rated about the same . . . B+. With Keenum coming back and most of they top WRs coming back, their offense will be off the charts. Defense . . . that is an entirely nother story.

Re: For better or worse in 2011
I think Tulane will stay about a D+ maybe drop to a D but the ratings shouldn't vary too much.
Re: For better or worse in 2011
Mizzou will be better i think solid B team
but with EA it wont matter with all the overdone BS they will insert into the game.
I plan on keeping Mizzou provided they are guude

Texas will prolly drop to a B+ team. young QB lose experienced WR. Losses at OL and DL will hurt. DBs and Safetys will be dramitically different.....kdog36 wrote:Mizzou will be better i think solid B team

Spoiler!
all that said....they will prolly be over rated at a B+.
With my loss to KU i doubt ill be able to keep them anyways. FML!

texas wont be a b, neither will fsu...that would require research an accuracy.
they will both be a teams as mentioend above, good teams like uconn will struggle to get a C

Re: For better or worse in 2011
Washington should be a B+, but I'll be happy to see them as a B as long as there is some MORE SPEED!!!

S14: N Texas 7-1
S15: Wake 8-5
S16-21: Washington 9-4, 10-3, 8-5, 9-4, 7-6, 6-7
S22: Ohio 8-5
S23: ECU 12-2
S24-26: Kentucky 8-5, 5-7, 5-7
Career: 102-61

Re: For better or worse in 2011
Started making me wonder what BYU would look like next season. Max Hall came in as a 2 star recruit and stud running back actually came in as a 2-star linebacker. I would think BYU will actually be much much better ratings wise on NCAA 2011. They went from recruiting 2 and some 3 star players to getting 3 star recruits mainly with some 4 star guys. And the way EA does things, I still think they give team ratings based more on recruiting classes than how they develop. NU was always over rated throughout the Callahan days.
On another note, Nebraska should be a ton better on defense. I'm not concerned EA will give NU a shitty offense based on last season. They can't possibly make them as bad as they really were.

Indiana's offense should be good. I would think they deserve a B+ or could possibly even sneak up to an A-. They return everybody but a couple linemen. The receiving corp is constantly talked about as being deep and talented. The redshirt freshman RB had a breakthrough this year.

Re: For better or worse in 2011
The team I'm currently controlling, UNC, will probably stay a B+, but could sneak to a A- to A. WVU will likely be a B+ due to a new QB, but they are returning nearly everyone, and added some nice weapons on both sides of the ball.

Re: For better or worse in 2011
Buffalo is losing their best running back, top two wideouts, and tight ends. They will probably get relegated to I-AA in the game.

Re: For better or worse in 2011
PSU - I think they were overrated @ A- this year and that includes an incredibly underrated set of WRs. 2011 is likely to have those WRs much higher, while holding the OL/DL ratings the same. They'll be very predictable and make the LBs all-world, whether they deserve it or not. I might have lucked into being able to keep PSU, so I'm hoping my biggest fear doesn't come true. I think they may really underrate the speed of the secondary. Combining that with what will most definitely be 50 rated AWR QBs, could be a death sentence in the Big 10.
Likely Rating: A- (way overrated considering the QB situation)
Should be Rated: B+
Want them to be Rated: B

Clemson may be a C because they have nothing with Spiller leaving and the OL that transferred and 2 LB's that quit the team due to health and injury problems

Re: For better or worse in 2011
Hmm... I say UNC drops to a B- or C+, they aren't losing too painfully much other than like 75% of the d-line...
Ah well that improves my chances of getting damn
(Knock on wood)
As for THIS team... the way they shoot themselves in the foot, they've earned an F+.
Oh yeah, Norte Dame, B - C+ depending on what they manage to scrape up.
