It's pretty sad

I miss Hoos anti EA rants, classic.

He still works for the company when did this happen?
Which further goes to show you don't know what you're talking about. I'm no longer with EA; haven't been since November. I got a new gig now with another gaming company in an industry that is booming.
Yet, during my time at EA, never did I ever have any say with the NCAA product nor did I lead anyone to believe I had any real input. Just a fan like all of you, but still just as far removed.
So for future reference, whenever these 'Bash EA' threads come up, don't drag my name into the mix.

Getting Old (36) My boy who is about to be 8 will be the next NDL gamer if NDL is still around. I prob could let him play now and you guys would not know the difference. He plays pretty damn straight. He loves to run the ball alot. In fact I have let him play the second half some this season when I was SO far behind in some games. (Did you notice CNASTY?
)
he always returns kickoffs and kicks the extra points.
I play NCAA when it comes out, get extremely upset that I still can't be good at the game no matter how much I play it and try to listen to all the help offered (thanks Outlaw, Dawgit, etc)
I then resort to just playing my league games and some OD games.
To me that is enough. I am not a good gamer. Hell I get dizzy as shit playing COD
As some have stated. I have a great life, and this game is nowhere near the top of my priority list. This gaming is simply a way to relax despite what others may think.
Life is good.
I appreciate the opportunity to be apart of this league.

Don't let VT fool you; when NCAA 05/06 was out, he had a weekly conference call with the head of the EA SPORTS (key word there) Campus Rep head, where he could have voiced the NDL's complaints, and he didn't.
I KNOW he didn't for 06, cuz I was sitting in on those conference calls (we were both in the EA Campus Rep program).
You're still my boy, Chase, just had to do it cuz of all the hoops smack you've been talking lately

- I wasn't even in the NDL then. These were calender year's 2004 & 2005, I didn't join the NDL till 2007 when the league transitioned to Playstation 3jsence2 wrote:Don't let VT fool you; when NCAA 05/06 was out...
- I was 1 of 45 'Campus Reps' in this program. Yes, we did have weekly conference calls, but this was for business & reporting purposes only, not voicing gaming grievances. Imagine if every week we had 45 people bitching & moaning about every title we were marketing. We wouldn't get anything done. We had other tools for reporting complaints, which we all did, but at the end of the day Lead Camps Rep manager doesn't call any shots.jsence2 wrote:...he had a weekly conference call with the head of the EA SPORTS (key word there) Campus Rep head, where he could have voiced the NDL's complaints, and he didn't.

just my opinion, but have you top guys considered a downsize? I know the 120 teams is what makes the ndl the best...but if ya havnt noticed the ndl and farm are the only ps3 leagues right now. I ran the farm the last 2 or 3 season,s and honestly there are maybe 1 or 2 that are ndl material....so another season or 2 the farm might be in trouble for call ups.
there are 85 ndl teams who has not completed their games, with 2 or 3 days left to do so, honestly how many of those teams will finish their season 20 maybe. The interest has been going down for a while now.
maybe toss around the idea of dropping down to 90 teams....I mean it's obvious there is not 120 coaches interested in playing 3 full season's. Invite back the guys that put forth the effort and get games played..let the others join the farm or sign up on a waiting list. Do this each season and if their spot in the ndl means anything the games will get played.
like I said I know the ndl prides itself on 120 teams...but if 60 teams don't complete the season what's the reason for a 120 team league?
just my opinion

Nole probably knows the answer to this, but I wonder if that is any different than the numbers every season (notably the third of a particular game)Ank wrote: there are 85 ndl teams who has not completed their games, with 2 or 3 days left to do so, honestly how many of those teams will finish their season 20 maybe. the league is fine. You can't expect everyone to be jubilant over NCAA for like 8 months a year. When 2011 comes out, 9/10ths of us will be there at 9AM the day the store opens even though we have to wait a week for rosters, and we'll be ready to go.

they are not lol
good call weasel... i just wasnt going to say anything this year.
the numbers are around the same as they are every single year since 2005 even when everyone "loved" the game (rose colored glasses of yester-year)
jm had to sim a ton of games especially in the 3rd leg...so did i, so did mike and now so did aj..its nothing new
every 3rd leg we're all suprised when we have a bunch of sims
i can prolly predict that this time next year we'll be having the same conversation

Re: It's pretty sad
Well next year will be The Niddler doing the simming.
