After they fucked us over, it's poetic justice.

Question for the big soccer guys. Which team in group D would we most want to finish 2nd to play next round? (that has a chance at finishing 2nd)

I would say Ghana. They don't pass well, their top player (Michael Essien) is out, and none of their strikers put fear into the US defenders.

This is absolutely unbelievable. Everything seems to be stacked together to keep this from happening....
There is going to be a goal in the 93rd minute. It will probably suck.

It didn't suck, though!
Best comment I've seen so far:
Final Group C Results:
US ties England, 0-1.
US ties Slovenia, 3-2.
US beats Algeria by 1, 2-0.
US beats FIFA refs 0-2.

People get mad at Rossi for choosing Italy over the USA.
Imagine taking the pitch at the World Cup....and playing against your OWN BROTHER.
Germany-Ghana has that today with the Boateng brothers.

Good God this match is just as good as the USA match.
It's wide-open, and both teams easily could've just scored--Germany got a terrific chance saved, and Ghana had a shot cleared off the line.

If that happens, we face Serbia--I'd rather face Ghana than try to break down a central defense led by Vidic and Subotic (side note, imagine how good the USA team would be if they had Subotic and Rossi!)
