I just want this to get out there in my OPINION and this has nothing to do with most people that I have played but I want some people to think when they are doing coaches reports this season and here is the point......

If you are going to sit in man coverage ALL GAME and make tackles with your safeties behind the LOS do not dcock me for only throwing drags and scrambling with my QB every other play if no one is open.

Look people I know man is a great way to play pass D this season but remember lets mix it up on defense, or if not don;t dock your opponent for scrambling or throwing the very few routes that work against man. Hope everyone has a nice day.

Dont hold personal vendettas.
Think about it on the flip side, how would I perceive the information I am entering on that coach to improve my gameplay.

We all know man coverage is VERY dominant in this game and drags,scrambling with the QB at times, and throwing to the back may be a little more prevalent this year for sure.

But lets focus on that NDL slogan...MODERATION!!

Yea I don't come across well as sarcasm is not taken very well over a message board so better wording would help but yes, lets keep an open mind this season IF we are going to be playing the same defense 75-85% of the time.

I wanted to start a thread about man D being overused but i didn't want the commishes yelling at me for starting the next NDL fight thread. Thanks Pat.

Completely agree with ur posts. I've played a couple of scrims where all i saw was cover 2man all but maybe 3 or 4 plays of the game.

Drags. HB flats and QB scrambles. In moderation of course, eill probably be added to my arsenal this year to deal with overuse of man.

nobody complained when i ran man 95% of the time last season and guys scored 50 pts a game on me

Man coverage wasnt as dominate in last years game you fool.

If you cant see that, you need more time in the game 3rd place ladder guy.

Not saying it cant be beat but dont be surprised if you see more check downs to the backs,QBs scrambling, and a lot of drags.

Things that were previously "frowned upon" a lot in other versions.

I had no problem beating your 95% man..just sayin.

Ive seen it a ton in my ladders but Im not saying its cheesy at all. Just saying buyer beware of the things that beat it should also be used in modertation as well as the D being called.

I have as well. Pretty much every other ladder game the user is going man 90% of the time, and I don;t mind but if I beat you do not AIM me telling me i check down too much or I am scrambling with the QB, cause your gonna get a not so friendly response from me about your defense. Just relax run your D and I'll run my O.

Dave would have two more lossses in the ladder if he and I could connect Corey......j/k

last year guys go murdered for zone, then guys would use that as the excuse to scramble with their QB all game

Sometimes you've just got to realize that there are some guys in this game that will find ways to come up with complaints if they see something new or something that works against them. Like Nasty said, just have an open mind and don't hold vendetta's. Play the game for fun and realize it's 1000 times better than what you see in lobby play.
