Having to wireless with the PS3
To make a long story short my in-laws are some of the ruder people alive on the planet and I lost my plug on the router for the PS3. How do I make this thing work wireless, I had it setup that way in the past so I know it works, just not sure what I need to do at this point as I am also sick and all hopped up on cold medicine and painkillers. So my memory and reasoning are a little fuzzy right now, also took me 20mins to make this post

Good to know.fsupenguin wrote: I am also sick and all hopped up on cold medicine and painkillers..
That explains the confusion with you mentioning your in-laws for reasons i wasn't sure why. I'll chalk it up to the meds.

Re: Having to wireless with the PS3
Our router has 4 plugs, we have used 2, and they have used 2. This morning they tell us they need a 3rd plug for there use so my father-in-law can use his cpu at 2 different spots upstairs. So instead of taking 2 minutes and walking to the router to unplug and plug in a cable he takes my router plug for the ps3.

I think I might have it figured, going to try and play a game now to see how that works out.

You can always buy a small Hub/switch.
$20 new at Walmart or $10 used online.
http://www.walmart.com/ip/D-Link-5-Port ... ku=5431986
This will take the 1 port they give you and then give you 4 ports.

I was going to suggest the same thing Niddler did. Get a cheap ass hub and connect it to the router.
