AIM List is READY

Quack or anyone of you tried this on the AIM for the Iphone yet?

It works just fine at home, but on my phone it basically is always showing only 6 guys on my AIM list, lol.

So, I completely deleted the list on my computer.

Then redownloaded the list. Instead of 6 showing on my IPhone, 40 showed. Better, but still not all 118.

Repeated the process, and it's 41. Slowly, I'm getting there, lol.



Any Iphone users and mainly Corey since he's the only one that answered me, on your phone, if you click on "Groups" and add up the number "Online" and the number "offline", is it 118?

If so, fuck you.

Dammit!! That's basically what my computer says, obviously.

Tried downloading a 3rd time and now it shows 17 online/20 offline, so 37 total.

This blows.

you've downloaded the new aim list to your computer right? Delete all the current groups on your aim list one by one, which should delete the names also. Then click menu on aim and scroll to aim then click load buddy list.

Yea. I've downloaded it to my computer. Works just fine and shows everyone on the computer.

It originally only showed 6 total guys on my Iphone. I just clicked the 1st person on my computer, then hit control and clicked the last person, basically copying everyone, then clicked delete buddies.

I re-downloaded, and it showed like 40 on my Iphone after that. Then tried a couple more times and it showed 41 and now 37 on my Iphone buddy list.

I'll try deleting the groups 1 by 1 like you said.

do you have aim running on your iphone at the time you are trying to update the list? that might be causing a problem. not sure about that though.
Make sure it isnt running in background. I sometimes forget to shut programs off and have like 10 of them running at same time.

The 1st few times I did.

The final time I signed off and closed the app. Re-downloaded, then hopped on the app and signed in again, and that's when it showed 37 guys.

I thought that might be it as well for a sec.

Another weird thing.

On my Iphone, when someone that is NOT on my list IMs me, it still IMs me with there nickname and team in parantheses, but it just doesn't show the on my "Online" list or "Offline" list.

On my computer, I had it sorted alphabetically. I switched to sort by groups. Deleted each group 1 by 1. Logged off on my iphone.

Then, I redownloaded, and it popped back on my computer, broken down into groups again, obviuosly. And then it showed all of em on my Phone.

No clue why, but it worked fine.
