All game. You get one per life and Scavenger doesn't help because it takes 8 seconds to get a new one loaded. Plus that is a horrible comparison considering you will also have an assault rifle. Let's just use a straw poll. We can assume that people use the loadout that is most advantageous to their success, right? Hence, the parade of idiots with Marathon, Lightweight, and Commando. So, let's play a game. Which one do you see the LEAST of on any give map and mode?

You could multiple the fourth one by ten and not come close to whichever one is third place. If it is sooooo easy, why are there 20x more snipers than people running around with rocket? And don't say that "people know it is cheese" because that doesn't explain why they all have 203's.

Sniping is mesmerizingly easy and that is why everyone does it.

I fucking love Socom 3, Socom 2 was horrible. Of course I played it after I had been playing 3 forever. I still played it, even though it sucked.
I have been playing MW2 for 4 days now. A lot. It is not as good as BC2. The shit i have seen that goes on in this game is just ridiculous. Mother fuckers that just run around and knife the shit out of people or have akimbo SGs. it is just dumb. I'll still play the shit, but I just don't like the style of the game.

Your position is that because there are more snipers in the game then sniping must be easier? This is where your logic makes me laugh.

There are many reasons why there are more snipers in a game. There are multiple sniper rifles in the game and most people try out different guns. You also get XP for completing tasks with guns. Hell, Biffy used a sniper in W@W to get the XP.

Anybody can snipe and get kills but that doesn't mean that you're good at it or will be effective at it all game. I'd say a good 90% of snipers are average or below.

If anything, snipers aren't as dominant as they have been in past games. Some of the burst weapons seem to have just about the same range. The advantage to them is, of course, the scope.

I'm never, ever going to buy your argument that shooting a rocket is the same as sniping. You don't have to hit the target with a rocket. You just have to hit in the vicinity of the target. I realize it isn't a 203 which is just retarded with OMA. The rocket is clearly not on the same annoying level as the 203 or the MLC combo. However, it's not close to the talent level of a good sniper.

MW2 is a fast paced game. It's not an overly covert game. It's madness and that is why a lot of people like it. BC2 might be more realistic or whatever but I'd much rather play an action packed game than some stealthy BS. I want action from start to finish.

However, the running with the knife is annoying as shit.

So, what you are saying is that most of the people willingly pass up the simple-as-pie rocket launcher to use the sniper rifle even if they aren't good at it? OK, yeah, sure. They go for the sniper, shotgun, claymore route because it is easy mode. You know it, you just somehow think what you do is an art. Get a fucking assault rifle, get something explosive, and come have fun with the rest few who still do so.

The amount of times that I snipe is heavily exaggerated. I use an regular gun much more than I do a sniper. There are certain maps that I always snipe on because there are good locations to snipe into B. Unfortunately, Dan likes all my spots too.

And that brings me to another thing; do you snipers even use the fucking scope? I mean, that shows how goddamn easy it is! You can just run around and half-aim and kill people. I see snipers with STEADY AIM. Now what the fuck is that for? Oh yeah, so you can run around with the sniper rifle like it is a assault rifle.

if the rocket was so fucking easy, it'd look like Missile Command out there. It is not. Nobody uses it.
