Lol going ballistic isn't in the wrong. Like I said, I have no dog in the fight. I just think Rivers should be replaced with Rodgers. Can we do that?

That's actually 1 spot where I agree with Trendon, that Rivers has been better than Rodgers the past couple of seasons.

He is better than Brees, too.

Then Rivers is also better than Brady, since Brees is better than Brady. :D

Give me Rodgers. His first two years in league better than Rivers'. Lack of playoff wins his downfall but Rivers not much better.

If we're talking about towards the future, I'm taking Rodgers as well.

Geez, there will never be a consensus and agreement on who is better. People can say Manning is better than Brady, but others will say Brady has the rings compared to Manning. Then the others will say, Brady had a team. I can argue every point about how great Brady is, but a lot of people hate Brady because of the Pats and Belichick. Brees proved himself last year and won the title against Manning. Brady has beaten Manning two times in the playoffs during the Pats' Super Bowl titles. Manning then returned the favor in 2006 beating Brady in the come from behind win in the AFC Championship game to advance to the Super Bowl against the Bears. Point is, everyone will judge on accomplishments and who wins what, as statistics come into play. No one will come into agreement on who is the best......
Brees is a great quarterback and when it is all said and done, he will probably be at the top with Brady and Manning. Everyone can argue for days on this, as all I can say is good luck to everyone and enjoy football. In MY OPINION..........Brady, aside from his injury in 2008, he was one of the top quarterbacks in the league and can return to the top along with Manning. As the injury slowed him down last season............takes over a year to fully recover from his injury and we will see how he does this season. In summary, Brady and Manning are at the top, Brees will be there eventually..........and the season is a long one! GO PATRIOTS! as for the Bledsoe comment...........I am a Bledsoe fan because of what he did with the Tuna and Curtis Martin during the early years! After he left, he did decent in Buffalo the first year and then tapered off and sucked the rest of his career! Too bad...........I still wear his Patriots jersey! NFL season.......it is here!

Curtis Martin years... yuck

thats when people in New England actually started following the Patriots and started the disgusting obsession that there is today.

the worst memory of my football life was being like 10 years old and going to the Pats-Steelers playoff fog game and watching Martin on the first play get lost in the fog then pop out 30 yards down field as he's rushing to the house. i wanted to puke

Too bad when other fans started watching them. I actually attended my first game in Foxboro (Foxborough) in 1978, but cannot remember any of it. As I grew up, my favorite players were John Hannah, Steve Nelson, Andre Tippett, Steve Grogan, Garin Veris and so forth. I guess I did not care if they were losing as I was young and just wanted to attend games. Then Super Bowl XX came and it was bad..........but continued to support the team through some of the worst records in history of the NFL with the only bright spot of Victor Kiam.........LOL! Been a true fan since the late 70s and love the team no matter how shitty they were or will become since declines happen in the NFL.

This Bears/Lions game is the most comedic football game I've ever seen followed closely by the complete crap being played in Miami/Buffalo. The Lions still completely suck and are now without Stafford and the Bears are a fucking mess too

Matt Moore is the worst starting qb in NFL history. i thought that before the game and certainly think that after the game.

Man, unless it's the top echelon of teams, the NFL is just unwatchable.

Some of these teams are horrible.
