I'm working on it but today is a hectic week for school with lots of after school activities so it may not be until the weekend till I get it finished.

how do you guys use this....do you set up a new contact group for each season? How do you avoid having dupe contacts?

I use Pidgin (open source im program) and it has a list exporter into .xml.

Then I use a program called Notepad++ and open the xml file. Here is the time consuming part:

Create a list of who has what team by conference and then copy and paste in the xml file double checking my work constantly. I probably could create an easier method but dragging and dropping got really annoying from each group so copy and paste seems to work faster for me. I used to start with a blank list and do it one by one but I think this method is saving me time.

Like I said eventually I hope to have a faster method but it would take me time to create a faster method and I don't want to waste any more time then I already am

I did it last season and did not have duplicates. I will play around with it.
If someone else figures it out or knows how, please post. I just don't remember what I did.
