Just glanced over the stat board and saw that Jeffdaddy is averaging 601 yards per game (only played one game so far...)
In his own words..."FUCK YEAH!!!" I don't care how many playbooks I use or who it's against, I've NEVER thrown for that many yards in one game...Let alone for 6 TDs and 0 INTS!!
I'm jumping on this bandwagon before it gets rolling. I hope you never run the ball Jeffdaddy...Fucking sling that rock til the clock doesn't tick tock!

I don't know why people complain about this. I would think it would be moderately easy to defend.

Oh well. I am going to try and go back to my roots and slinging it around again this year. May be painful with FIU though.
yeah.. all the times I ran my offense like this I would get at least one complaint whether be on coaches report or on im at least one person was like.. Solid Coach but passes too much.. never runs.. not very realistic.
That is why I said I was surprised he was not hearing that complaint.
JD's offense is pretty darn hard to stop. We had a nice shootout in the cup.
The problem with passing all the time is you do get dinged on your reports. For some reason, it is ok to run all the time but passing out of SG all game gets you dinged. Some PBs are pretty much all SG and the plays have similar action. You can call 4 different plays in a row and they look the same.
It's a shame that you do get dinged sometimes for this type of offense but everybody is free to fill out their coaching reports as they want. I just wish some people would educate themselves a little more by looking at the various playbooks and realizing how similar the patterns are of many plays. Hell, some of the formations are even the same but just flipped. Hopefully, overall, the league is smart enough that a few people will not ruin your scores.

Agreed. Guys can run allllllllll game with no thoughts of lowering the score but god forbid passing all game. You are even more like to toss picks then fumble if you run all game so dont see the big deal.
If I am down by 14+ and whoever I am playing against is still slinging the rock every play I wouldnt hit them on their gameplay as long as they were staying within the rules but I could see me putting my controller down and letting the CPU pick my defenses while I browsed internet porn or made a bologna sandwich with cheese. Just doesnt sound like a fun game for the losing team looking at those stats. Meh, just my opinion. Still wouldnt bitch or hit them on a report but might not schedule in the future.

Just me 2 pesos...
I'd much rather that than the kid gloves treatment. As an expert on losing, let me say that playing on offense is much more fun than defense.
i love Jdaddy, but if you pass 50 times and run 0 then you should get dinged a little. and i'm an 'all 5's guy' unless you do something crazy against me
its not a knock on anyone and I like playing all different styles of gameplay so it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they did it against me but we do have a part of the coaches report for realism and not running AT ALL is not very realistic.
I played Jeff twice in the past few seasons and I have him all 5's and I am a tough, tough grader. Why? He threw outs. Slants. Lobs. Posts. Screens. Had normal dropbacks. Threw to about eight different guys. He showed/shows more of a mix than guys who run two dives, a counter, and then have their two money plays that they use nine times across four different plays.
I played a player in the past few seasons that I absolutely skewered in the reports. He gained about 75% of his yardage on third down on one play. Oh, it was probably seven or eight different plays but it was the same exact fucking pass pattern. And things like that are what I dock people for ... dishonest play more than anything else.
Jeff is not dishonest and, quite honestly, at what point in time does the way Jeff plays become realistic? Does he have to throw 99% of the time for five more seasons before people say, "OK, Jeff, passing every play. Got it." and understand that it is realistic for him in this game?
i dont think jeff is anything but a class act. i also dont think he's doing it to get an unfair advantage or to 'win at all costs'. i know he's just playing to have fun.
