Yea I got the enfield last night and it was real solid. Hated the burst of the M16.

I need to get that red dot as that is my favorite accessory if you will in the MW series.

the kick on the guns makes it very difficult to shoot long distances

Yea it does. I finally got the red dot and popped the steady aim and it helped some but I am still facing the same damn frustrations.

How often do you guys look at the radar? I dont use it as much as I think I should. It seems almost 90% of my deaths are from behind and it pisses me the freak off. The other 10% are me getting the jump and totally missing them from getting all exciting and being a bad shot.

Ive started firing from the hip alot more this version which has helped but I still suck.

What are the vets thoughts on sprinting? Do you only sprint when going from one open space to another or constantly sprinting around the map? I was constantly sprinting but then I realized I would come up on someone and be all out of sorts from sprinting and miss them by 20 feet.

you should be using the mini map/radar like the rear view mirror in your car, quite a bit.

i sprint till i get "in the area" i feel like there will be some action.

How do you stop getting shot from behind?

Do you normally sprint to where you see a lot of enemies to get to the action or do you sort of hang near there and let them come to you? I find when I head to the red dots I get killed instantly so maybe I need to bring a more sleuth type approach to the party.

Even though my gun may not be a burst fire gun, I still tap the fire button instead of holding it down. That seems to help with the kick on the guns as the shorter bursts do not kick as much.

Like AJ said, I use the radar as well to see where the people are, sprint to the general area, then start checking it quicker as I approach the area.

another thing I started using last night was the Hardline perk, perk 1 I think, where it gets you your kill streaks 1 kill quicker. That way you can get some slight advantages quicker, until you are able to consistently get killstreaks. Some people think the spy plane is a waste, but if you use it now before you get to the bigger killstreaks, you can see where people tend to hide, without having to sneak up on them. Once you get a general feel for the maps, you can then upgrade to a better one.

This is why this thread is gold, did not know this at all.

What about the skulls and crossbones you see. Are they right in that spot behind a wall or in that vicinity or did they kill someone there or something?

I cant handle the burst. I unload a full clip on one person until they are dead or at least the clip is gone.

I think those are the spots people on your team were killed.

I get frustrated to quickly with this game and Im trying not to be that way this time so I can prove the Hoos and Biffys wrong that I wont quit after 2 weeks.

I just get so freakin pissed when Im doing good, doing good, and boom shot from behind 5 times in a row when I swear I checked that corner!!!!

If you shoot me in the face when you get the jump on me or vice versa and you win, congrats good game.

When you shoot me from behind like a little bitch, I go Feisty like and let it out.

They need a 4 eyes perk where you get double vision from behind.

im liking this game better than last cod i played just because the invite /party system is MUCH improved over last time i played

THAT would suck to get booted, then spend 10 mins trying to join a party then it not working....i remember vividly the night i gave up was shortly after the "why dey whey up der?" night when i spend over 60 minutes just trying to START a gm with ndl'ers

after that i said fuck it and gave the game to my nephew

yea, it seems to work much better than the last one.

Its all about someone taking the lead and hosting and then inviting everyone in.

My gameplan is jump on, check to see who is on. Evaluate if the B team is on and if they are in a room, wait for them to finish that match. When done, expect an invite or shoot one to them.

If no Bteamers, hope for an A team snob to not ignore me and invite me over to ruin their winning streak.

The first week or so of that game the party system was completely fucked. Having to sign in and out to get into one. But after they patched it we rarely had problems with it.

Try a Light Machine Gun. I've sworn by them for years now. You move SLOW AS FUCK in this one, but you can absolutely mow down people.

Mind you, get the grip or you are fucked.
