Points Idea

When points come out, why not put out a list 1-120 highest to lowest point total and put a star or something beside the people who have to enter the draft? It would give everyone an idea of where they would draft and might actually make more people think about keeping their team. Wouldn't even have to put the point totals out there, just list everyone high to low.

I would like to add an additional question on this as I did not get a response initially.

Is it possible that we are able to see where we would have drafted had we entered the draft. (of course after all is set for season 22)

this would give us an idea if we made a wise decision or not. not that that matters with me of course.

but how would they figure it out? say you ask and its like, you would be 10-15 range. then someone who would have been ahead of you asks, dropping you down, then that continues to happen, making that original 10-15 not accurate at all. you see what im saying?

the only way to avoid that would be to just tell you where you stand with everyone in the draft, which again, would not be accurate either.

The only thing you could do is release the full list, in order, of every coach ranked by points (without point totals since those are essentially meaningless once you rank everyone). You could then figure out (by removing coaches that did keep their teams), where you would have drafted (if you didn't draft).

We already know somewhat the order of coaches by points by looking at the draft order, the only unknown for the general NDL populace is where the coaches that kept there teams would have been.

Post-draft, it probably isn't a big deal to divulge the list. Pre-draft, it does ruin the system.

Exactly what Joe said. Just to see where you stood even though you kept your team. Obviously it doesnt make a difference, just something for curious minds

we lost the old thread but the numbers/ranges are still almost EXACTLY the same since season 1

i'll try to find it sunday when i have more time

basically if you score between say 90-95, u will draft 40-50 for example

its honestly within maybe +-5 TOPS
