Awful sale by Amazon. The price for the headset was $51.99 and they discounted it $2 to $49.99. I don't know what they're thinking, but clearly moving units is not a priority for them.
i have the turtle beach headsets and recommened then to any gamer. its basically 5.1 surround sound in your ears. its worth every penny. you can hear stuff you normally wouldnt hear thru the tv. flies hovering over a garbage can. you can mute the tv,and i use them all the time while my wife is sleeping right next to me in the same room. you can hear the chat clearly,and you can also mute the chat if you have some idiot playing music on his headset during a game, which wont mess with the game sound volume at all.
it will be the best investment you can make if you play video games. if you buy them at best buy, get th eextended warranty. if they go out or break,no questions ask, they replace them. so when its about to expire,just go get a new pair.
The new PS3 one is out in Sept. and it looks very good. It's wireless and has 7.1 surround sound. The pricetag is $100. I'll be picking one of these up down the road.
