I was watching the news at lunch one day last week and they spent 10 minutes on the search coverage for the girl who had been missing for 4 days. Then immediately after that story the exact same news anchor gave a 30 second update on a 20 year black guy who'd been missing for 3 weeks! I'm not one to dwell on racial issues or inequalities but this was ridiculous.

It's been the same here; that girl's story has led the news down here every damn day; she gets a special segment on TWO America's Most Wanted episodes....and the minority children/teens get no coverage.
