Massey Ratings Question
I know that you can see results by year under the team page, but has anyone been able to find a page that has the results for the entire season? I assume that it is there somewhere since it has all of our seasons included in there
Re: Massey Ratings Question
What exactly are you looking for?
http://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?s=77910&t=77910
This is a link to the entire league for the "1991" season, which I think qualifies as Season 1, but I'm not sure.
Here is "1992":
http://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?s=77909&t=77909
The numbers in the URL are changing somewhat predictably but this doesn't hold true for all season.
If you go to an individual team and go through the drop down dialogue for the different seasons you can then click the "ndlXXXX" link in the top left to see the entire league that season, but it is cumbersome.
Not sure if this helps.

Re: Massey Ratings Question
I was hoping to find something similar to http://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?s=77909&t=2652 but with scores for the entire league not just the team that was clicked on
Re: Massey Ratings Question
1991 is actually season 2 and 1992 is actually season 1. The rest go in chronological order though.dakshdar wrote:What exactly are you looking for?

Re: Massey Ratings Question
i think its only team by team
you can put up an open request for anyone with time to pull it team by team or we can have the conf commishes pull each conf and get it to you in an excel or whatever format u prefer

Re: Massey Ratings Question
Based on the way that I was importing the data,
Season
Week
Home
Away
Home Score
Away Score
Timetable is whenever it gets done, nothing pressing.

Re: Massey Ratings Question
So you would be looking for something like:NCSUholmey wrote:Based on the way that I was importing the data,
Season
Week
Home
Away
Home Score
Away Score
Timetable is whenever it gets done, nothing pressing.
Season - Season 1
Week - Week 1
Home - Arkansas
Away - New Mexico State
Home Score - 17
Away Score - 7
Are you looking for it to be stored in an Excel file or by some other means?

Re: Massey Ratings Question
excel is fine, I would then be able to manipulate it as needed that way.
If you start compiling, make sure that as you go, team names remain constant across all data lines. Example: NC State would stay NC State and not changed to NCSU / NCState / N.C. State / North Carolina State / etc as the list goes. Massey keeps the names constant so that shouldnt be a problem.

Re: Massey Ratings Question
I can definitely help you out a bit. I work from home in the afternoons most days so it will give me something to do other than surf the internet while I am on one of my many conference calls.

Re: Massey Ratings Question
once we get the data in the database, I will eventually be able to pull up results by team and by owner per season, as well as pull up user vs user records / etc

Re: Massey Ratings Question
Holmey was there a week 15 and 16 in season 2? I've already come across two teams, UConn and Pitt, that had a game in what would be week 16 but the other two teams I've done stopped two weeks earlier like all the rest of the seasons played. I just want to make sure I am cataloging this correctly.

Re: Massey Ratings Question
I think those were the early seasons where there were only 11 games, so those weeks might not have existed.razorback44 wrote:Holmey was there a week 15 and 16 in season 2? Re: Massey Ratings Question
Yeah season 1 had 11 games, then season 2 jumped to 12 for some reason and then season 3 goes back to 11. It goes to a 12 game schedule every year after the first game.NCSUholmey wrote:I think those were the early seasons where there were only 11 games, so those weeks might not have existed.razorback44 wrote:Holmey was there a week 15 and 16 in season 2?
