They must have changed to NCSU interest. I had no 4 star guys interested before, but now I have a few

This is a pretty long post—sorry no Shell Notes

Rules/information
I don’t want to control how people have fun but I do want the dynasty to be realistic and make sure everyone has a good time. We have 12 great guys in the dynasty and I would hope everyone stays until the next game drops.

1.) I plan on running the dynasty until the next game drops which should give us maybe 6 seasons
2.) I understand that life does not give you all the free time you would like to have and I do not have a problem giving extra time for people to get there game in (I would like to see how the following guidelines will work. These are always subject to change if needed)
• For USER vs USER games, allowance of 2 extra days if needed to get the game in
• For User vs. CPU, allowance of 1 extra day to get the game in
Last year our son had some issues and I delayed the league quite a bit. But this year I don’t think those same issues will happen
3.) USER vs. USER game--same rules of the NDL apply here
4.) User VS CPU game—this got out of hand last year and not realistic—when playing make sure the outcome looks realistic—last year there were scores of 73-3,87-21, I’m not exaggerating, coaches of the dynasty last year will back me up on this. No way is a USER beating the CPU by 8 td’s on a consistent basis. I hope I made sense here
5.) The Dynasty is setup with coaches contracts, I really don’t know how this will turn out but we will see
6.) USER vs. USER games—if you will not be able to get your game in, then I will let the 2 users decide if you want to allow an autopilot game or a sim…just let me know
7.) The ADv Schedule is Tuesday and Friday at Noon--MST
8.) Off-season Adv will be every 24hrs
9.) The dynasty is set to ALL AMERICAN status

ok I am dying to know, I didnt think I would but

--do you not feel great because

1--it is harder than last years version
2---your recruits do not look as promising as they did
3---or you will be in a lot of battles with other users over the same recruits?

got 2 4star guys on instant commits! I am loving my recruiting class at this point, but there is many players that have 3 or 4 users in their top 10.

Steel its a little bit of everything. I didn't complete but one season in last years version so can't really compare if its harder or what. The feedback I got just sucked this week and some of the guys of course either want to stay home if I'm not their local team and its not a big deal to them if they are my local team, LOL. Hopefully it will turn around in the coming weeks for me. Like I said before we started I'm kinda new to the recruiting stuff having not played Dynasty's since like 2003 or something like that. Sudden that guy is yours to lose, he doesn't really fit my style so I didn't even recruit him this past week, but I may jump in on him later if the others I'm after fall through. Congrats to the Users that won their games this week.

Yea you like the other guy that likes my team that is more of a power back. I love speed at RB so thats why i loved him but I can see me losing out on him to some other team. We shall see. I would give you some pointers but honestly i dont even know if what I am doing is the right thing to be doing.

Starting off the dynasty it seems it is always that way, but the more you win the more the recruits start leaning toward your school if there is even a chance. The only tip I can offer(this is not a 100%) is make sure you find out what is most important to the recruit. the earlier the better it does help. The person the dynasty needs to watch out for is Jsence---he is very good at recruiting---in another league he published a do's and donts of recruiting, I remember some of it but not all,

Anyway was home for lunch and messed around and landed a 5* and a 3* recruit. Nothing big ;)

Outrage--how was the computer game play--all the sliders are on default---So I am open to change them if needed

gameplay was ok. i threw 3 int's and syracuse was up 27-14 at half. had to come back in the second half which was tuff! I think the sliders are fine.

Biggest tip I can give is this:

Do NOT chase recruits you can't get. If you're not in their top 5 by the end of week 2, give up on them. If you're not in their top 5 when they cut it to 5, I don't care how close u are to #5, give up, you won't get them. If you're not in their top 3 by the end of week 5, give up, ESPECIALLY if there are users ahead of you; the ONLY exception I'd give to these rules is if you're the ONLY person to have offered to them. If that's the case, you can take all the time u need, just don't waste it.

Also, don't ever spend more than a half hour on a kid early on unless he's a kid who is so special that you MUST have him (like a 5* when you have a 3 star program, or a kid with A+ speed who is tall, etc); you need to spread your time out early or you'll lose kids who you have a great shot at getting, chasing someone you may not get.
