anyway, got it with the psn free game thingy and enjoyed it

I found it hard to find weapons that actually keep up with your level when you get that high. I think I have a few that I found when I was in the 30s. And trying to figure out what weapons are good isn't easy either. Something appears to have great stats and does shit damage.

I'm through almost all the expansion stuff as well (not counting the Moxxi stuff). The game is good, but does get extremely repetitive after a while.

Yup, I know exactly what you mean. Most of the weapons that I'm using, I've had for a while. I find myself sniping all the time because I can't find a better gun; esp. once you start fighting the guardians. All the alien guns are slow and they just dodge out of the way.

Basically, you just have to get lucky. Only a few guns are picked up in the same spots for everyone, mostly by killing certain people or completing certain quests, if I remember right. The rest are completely random. I really enjoyed this game. I have almost bought it again on a few occasions when I had nothing else to play.

I don't know where these guns rank compared to what all is out there. They are both valued around $150,000. A big step up from what I had. One is called the glorious Revolution and it's just a straight combat rifle. The other is a SMG called the Combustion Hellfire. The Hellfire lights people on fire.

Oh, the ones with special names.....some of those do some serious damage. There is one that you can do some kind of glitch in one of the towns and find a hidden room or some shit and there is some super gun there.

I get a few hits on him and it barely does anything then I run my ass off trying to avoid his attacks. In the meantime, the damage I've done is repaired and I'm back where I started.

Two things with that mission. You need a good gun. If you don't have one yet then come back to the mission later.

Secondly, you need cover. There is a hut on the main road. It kinda overlooks where you light the torches for that mission. Basically, you jump out of the hut and fire a few shots and then jump back in the hut once the fire starts. Just repeat that 10 or so times, depending on your weapon, and you will get him.

been using my sniper and shotgun mainly i found a shotgun thats 77 x 12 damage around level 24 and i havent found anything close again im right at 29-30 now.
