when is he not?

Anything NDL related, he's always bringing the admins and guys who put in all this hard work down.



I think he doesn't like when guys put new kids ahead of the NDL. There's this, plus last year he made some snide remark to buckeye in a scheduling thread regarding buckeye's baby.

I'm onto something here.

Why does VVV keep complaining about Alabama's 2 losses not showing up, when one came in week 14, and can't be considered for this poll? But, then he wouldn't have as much to argue about. Oh, and btw VVV, you did such a slack job at the voting aid (you NEVER included any other teams to look at besides the same 25 each week), that's why I took it over.

And same thing for anyone complaining about Air Force's two losses. One came in week 13 or 14, that is not supposed to be looked at. So, Air Force should be looked at as a one-loss team. In next week's poll, when we get to vote on them and consider the loss to a Colorado State team, they will drop for sure.

that for a fact is not true, one of the main things I did was include other teams to look at because that was one of the things I didn't like about the previous updater. I also logged what teams were ranked all season long when they were beaten so I could have that up there for people to look at instead of looking each week to see what a team was ranked if we had to add a schedule from the week before. And considering I did it before I obviously understand that it doesn't reflect everything, but that wasn't my point.

What I really don't get is how ppl think I'm complaining about the aide not being updated.

I simply responded to dave's complaint about voters not making good decisions with the simple reason that a bunch of people probably voted based on the aide not showing the losses. I realize life happens and of course celebrate the birth of your child, but I'm just calling a spade a spade. I really don't care about the aide because the only week that really matters is the last one for BCS implications (unless you're on the fringe and want your wins over ranked teams to be correct), which most of us go to standings for anyways.

As mentioned in here, having the aide is a nice thing that helps us out, but these polls now really don't make a huge difference until the last one of the season because nothing definitive is being decided here by this poll.

My problem was with the complaint, which spiraled into a whole 'nother discussion about how we could avoid this from coming up again by notifying people with something on the aide or with a post about it or something. From there I get attacked for bringing anything up, which is what happens in this league over and over again whenever there's a minority opinion that goes against the grain.

I just think complacency is the most consistent theme in good things that go downhill, and I don't want that to happen for this league

I have the answer: because shel trolls everything about me everyday because he has nothing better to do with himself. That's the only explanation.

And as for that baby-scheduling thread thing, I felt like a sim was bullshit because it was one of two that season against conference commishes (that's what Matt/buckeye was at the time) when neither made an effort to play me instead being okay to let it come down to the "Sim gods." Not so surprisingly the commishes got the wins in both of them, even when I offered to play in the middle of the night/the morning/evening/late night etc. and neither would work with me yet they get the sim win.

you might make GREAT points 95% of the time you say stuff... but you say it like a complete douchebag. i think we discussed this earlier and its a mean thing to say (and even i don't like saying mean things to anyone, even you) but you're one of the least likeable people i've ever encountered. i only say that to hopefully help you learn from it and become a better man and not to embarrass you or make you feel bad. when i said that before you said you were going to try to 'stop being VVV and start being Griff' again. and for like 2 weeks you weren't that bad, but then you came out again.

i mean, don't get me wrong... i'm a douchebag, but i know i'm a douchebag. 99% of the time i realize i'm being an arrogant prick and its done in good fun, the other 1% is stuff i try to learn from, nobody is perfect. i realize that alot of people may not like how i go about saying things and being so blunt but i'd like to think when they get to know my true intentions that they'd realize i'm not a bad dude. AJ and I are very similar in that respect... i've never met a bigger asshole than AJ... but i've also never met a nicer, more humble guy than AJ. you need to figure out how to get that balance and how to be more likeable. not for the league's sake, just for life.

not trying to get into a bickering war with you, just telling you my view and to be honest, now that i'm about to hit enter i have no idea why i'm trying.

Dave and I have went around a ton... hell, AJ and I have even exchanged not-so pleasantries.. and I think we have all worked through it/moved on like adults and never disrespected each other in public. You're openly disrespecting ALL of the people that spend the time to try to make this league that much better, which is why you're being called out on it.

The funny thing is, you made a comment earlier about how you are here doesn't relate to real life, well obviously you KNOW there is a difference then right? At this point, you're way out of line and no matter how many "/rants" you post, until you can act like a respectable individual, nothing you say can be taken seriously and only continues to dig a bigger hole.
