My Coaching Reports Suck!

Just so we're clear, there is a distinct difference between a draw play and a dive/iso/slam play. One of my opponents called me out for running too many draws, when I think the most I ran in one game was three, tops. I did run a lot of "slams" though, so probably some confusion/misunderstanding. I love you all!

I don't dock for same formation or play cause its mostly perception.

I didn't give out one four. I even thought one thing was a little to much one game but gave 5s and left feedback that someone else might have thought it was cheesey. As long as u don't take advantage of ai flaws u are getting 5s from me. Same formation...I don't care. Its my job to stop it or take advantage of it when on offense. Hell I even gave trendon all 5s and we all know he's a cheesey bastard, but that was probabbly the most fun games I had all year

I only dock when it's painfully obvious... for example you threw the ball 10 times, 9 were mid screen passes... there's a line I draw.

Now if you ran 9 screens and 3 were slip 3 were WR and 3 were mid, I wouldn't dock. Especially with how bad accuracy can be in this year's game.

Overall I couldn't complain too much. I never pay attention to formation unless your running the exact same play 3+ times in a row.

Got docked a couple points, like 23/25 and 24/25... and then I'm guessing 1 person hammered me. Kind of sucks to get blind-sided. If I ever had an issue with anyone, I always let them know on AIM and sometimes I've even given all 5s after having the issue, if it was clear to me that they weren't intentionally meaning to do something. I guess I'm just a bit too trusting of my fellow NDLers. I definitely appreciate the guys that did leave their name and give me some details on stuff. 2 of the points I lost were probably deserving, even though what I was doing wasn't intentional. Sometimes I get into a bad play calling flow and call too many of a certain type of play, even though it's out of different formations. So I'm kind of leaving myself open to criticism there. I acknowledge it though and have tried to work on some other options. Thanks to all that left comments.

That's even worse. Sucks that guys are like that.

it isnt possible for you guys to know who "bashed" you in the points. This isnt directed at you Cnotes, but everyone. Several people have said they told me one theing then docked my points. How do you know WHO docked your points?

One of the biggest problems with coaches reports is people saying one thing and then doing another....

another is the point deductions and then no comments at all

yet another is the "all 5's"in comments when thats not what they gave.

then there are the guys who bash guys for things they didnt do

then guys who get on their opponents because they were "bored" or their opponent didnt "entertain" them



This thread is fine for now and lets keep it that way to save Buckeye the headache. However, if you're guilty of any of the things I listed above, then that stinks

Thats not the intention of the coaches reports. I am not say you should be giving all 5s, score how you see fit. just do it like an adult please
