To My Opponents This Season
To My Opponents This Season
I will be playing with the weather and the lights on. This is a cool feature that I didnt use this season so I will use it this season just a heads up when we play at my place.

If Im not mistaken mr 98yd punt pass from your QB for the win at USF. Remember when you couldnt call "time out" I was cheating then huhtrendon wrote:Another way for him to cheat his ass to a win in the final second.

It takes about 5 secs to do.OracleHCR wrote: before going to the online lobby go to "play now" like you are going to play an exhibition against the cpu. Make sure you are the home team that you will be using in your game, and advance past uniform and playbook options and select "ready". At the game options screen, go to the Weather Channel live feed and change it to manual then back to live. Back out of the exhibition by pressing the circle and go to the online lobby. Invite your opponent and when the game starts you'll be playing in the current conditons of the home team.

This is a great feature. It's nice especially since it creates a new strategy for kicking field goals. You have to take the wind into consideration and I played a game online where my running back slipped in the rain on a screen pass.
I know EA didn't mean to do this but I'm glad it works!

I remember playing some dynasty games and watching my players slip as they were about to cut into their route lol.........this is going to be interesting. Just hope people are immature about it lolndlquack wrote:This is a great feature. It's nice especially since it creates a new strategy for kicking field goals. I played all of my home games with this feature on this season. Didn't notice much different, but the weather in Provo was never too bad. This season once winter hits, it may end up being a lot different.

Re: To My Opponents This Season
I do like having it on as it even adds more strategy on the coin toss, if the wind is going end-to-end always gotta take the wind at your back in the fourth quarter.
Snow games soon!

Re: To My Opponents This Season
I will be trying this as well but I will hope that if you are home and want to try this to ask your opponent first if they are ok with it. Seems like EA should make it a little easier to turn on though lol

Re: To My Opponents This Season
In real life when PITT plays Rutgers in PITT does Pitt ask rutgers if its ok thats its raining out. If my opponent is playing in the rain it means so am I. no advantage is given to me to turn it on. So my night game with rain experience shouldnt happen because my opponent doesnt want it. Am i off for thinking this way?SuddenBlues wrote:I will be trying this as well but I will hope that if you are home and want to try this to ask your opponent first if they are ok with it.
