Final Poll OPEN (at Noon est): Close Tues at noon est
Re: Final Poll OPEN (at Noon est): Close Tues at noon est
Whats to complain about Miami Pitt mizzou and Oregon all would have made a good game. With the BCS not out yet Miami and Pitt might be close enough to jump mizzou with them being so far back in the massey and the polls being close. I could be wrong so,Its wait and see.

voting aid actually was why it turned out that way which is somewhat understandable.

Didn't have Boise ranked for that reason alone. And bumped TCU up to 18 for winning the Mountain West. We'll see how many people voted BSU in the top 10.Seeitsaveit13 wrote:TCU was 29 massey and Boise 42 as wellChampDizzle wrote:exactly, same recordsdoc wrote:TCU beat Boise StChampDizzle wrote:only thing I would point out with is get off Boise St's nutsack(not directed to mtwasik). An 11-1 Nevada team that played a schedule that was ranked 4 spots ahead of mine gets a ton more votes over my 12-1 team. Can't wait to see how a certain few people voted....
I put TCU ahead of BSU, that part is shocking as well.
I think the more shocking part is that someone voted Nevada #1. I wonder who that was

The moment I saw this Massey thing having Missouri at #15, I discarded it as ludicrous.

voting aid and playing catch up hurt you. It also put Florida 6 spots ahead of SCarjsence2 wrote:An 11-1 Nevada team that played a schedule that was ranked 4 spots ahead of mine gets a ton more votes over my 12-1 team. Can't wait to see how a certain few people voted....

Re: Final Poll OPEN (at Noon est): Close Tues at noon est
The no love for 7-5 Arizona and Auburn surprises me. They played the 3rd and 6th hardest schedule according to Massey and I thought it was at least worth a 24 and 25 vote ahead of 11-1 Nevada with 6 wins over teams ranked over 100 in the Massey and the best win was against 54 Hawaii. Then again I voted ECU at 11 for some reason. I guess I saw those two wins against Houston as a big deal and if I hadn't ruined his undefeated season early he was going to run the table for a possible BCS buster game.

I don't care where I landed; I just didn't see how a Nevada team goes THAT far ahead of me; the 1st place vote is a joke though.
And George, I will get my revenge next season, just you wait

I am going to pick one of the coaches who voted Crowes #1, go to their house, take a dump and not flush it for an extended amount. Who is going to be that poor soul? I guarantee this 100% will be done.

Very much so. Similar to the great UCF-Air Force matchup last season when they were both in the top 15.LytezOut wrote:ECU vs Nevada would be a great bowljsence2 wrote:ChampDizzle wrote:voting aid and playing catch up hurt you. It was a great season for ya, jsence2. You accomplished alot with that mid-major squad. Maybe you'll be able to upgrade come draft time. Just think of the offense you could put up with a real stud team, like maybe.....LSU!

You guys have to remember, sometimes the reason some teams get higher is because they play their games on time, while others (though either their fault, or their opponents not being around to play, or so on), might end up playing half their games in the final two weeks. So, someone that's 8-2 with three weeks to go is going to be ranked higher then someone that might be 5-1, and then wins six in the last 2-3 weeks. Sometimes we have a coach not play at all for the first month or only one game, so he falls out with a 1-0 record, and then wins alot in the second half. That's why added the teams to look at in the voting aid, but sometimes that's just the way things happen.
