Even so, I'm thinking about doing the Turtle Beach just to be able to hear everything and everyone better. The only turn off is that I don't want a cord but I also don't want to pay more for the wireless one.

Agree. I have had both. I likes the wired one better to be honest but having wireless is a huge draw.

Not really, my Akimbo FMG still lights guys up. Didn't notice any difference at all.

Havent used FMG but Skorpion Akimbo is extremely slower (than it was pre-patch).
