Re: ***Sheltown-Chicago Trade Announcement***
We have an agreement in place. My compensation will be based on a minimum amount of performance by Clark and Shels position at the end of the year. It happens all the time in baseball. Clark is not going back to my team.dakshdar wrote:How does this work then? If you later can't agree on a player does it go to an arbitration of a panel of judges and they then award the player to be named? Or does the original player go back to the other team, so this turns into a free rental.
Do not like.
Bye the way Nick, thanks for the 1st round pick.

Re: ***Sheltown-Chicago Trade Announcement***
Since the trade almost exactly 2 months ago, Clark has had an injury that put him out for 6 weeks, and watched his .AVG dip from .355 to .306, .OBP from .421 to .373, and .OPS from .872 to .761.
Sheltown is cursed!!!
/ kneejerk, it's only been 13 games...but still

Stan Clark:
56 games in Toronto: .311/397/.446
40 games in Chicago: .355.421.452
26 games in Sheltown: .214/.279/.277
Patience is wearing thin with every .200 hitting week from this guy.

I love how Nick is all knowing on what's best for every team, you'd think his own team would be awesome.

1. That's debateable.nick wrote:still better than yours lolshel311 wrote:I love how Nick is all knowing on what's best for every team, you'd think his own team would be awesome.
2. I never said my team was awesome. That is why you don't see me trying to criticize every person's move like I know better than them, like you do.
If everyone took your advice, they could have 1 stud pitcher on a bottom 5 team with not much hope in the minors. YAY!!!
Re: ***Sheltown-Chicago Trade Announcement***
Good thing no one takes your advice or they'd have no studs, or any minor leagues lol.shel311 wrote:1. That's debateable.nick wrote:still better than yours lolshel311 wrote:I love how Nick is all knowing on what's best for every team, you'd think his own team would be awesome.

Honestly Stan Clark, WTF!
He's fast becoming my least favorite OOTPer.
By next sim, he'll be hitting below the Mendoza Line.
