Just an idea
Just an idea
I'm bored so I read a lot of what's going on with the boards while at work and such, but while reading through the scheduling thread I see a lot of "I didn't see your post till" comments just an idea but if you subscribe to the post then anytime a post is made you will get notification. That way people can stop missing guys responses and the scheduling can maybe go a little smoother and some of these games that aren't getting played because of play post tag and missing windows of opportunity can actually get in. But again like I said its just an idea. One I'm sure a lot of you have already thought of.

good idea dcane
The other thing that I do, if you look at my scheduling threads, I always put my and my opponent's name in the thread title, for example:
Pitt (niddler) @ Louisville (razor)
I feel it makes it easier to find my games.
And I don't want to talk negatively in public, but in my honest opinion, the guys stating that they didn't see it until now, I call BS!
When someone has a game to play, there is also AIM and a PM through this site to let your opponent know your schedule.
If the guys would have hit their opponent up and made an honest effort to contact their opponent, I am sure their opponent would have informed them that they have a thread already started.
We see this every season where guys are trying to get credit for games late in the season. Again, just my opinion.

This wasn't about the mods its about the coaches. The mods do a great job its just not fair that we all make a commitment and at the end of it the commitment isn't met for whatever reason.
