File Up!
Re: File Up!
cool,
Questions I have,
1- Can I cut someone now that is scheduled to be auto-renewed without it effecting my payroll expense? It looks like I can
2- what's the schedule like for the week?
3- Do we need to do anything now?

So every time I try to open my email in the game, it crashes... any insight?

Re: File Up!
1. Emails are all empty
2. Getting a connect error when trying to upload file (did we change OOTP settings?)
3. Was able to download the newest update (same file as the one linked above)

When you DL the new file (above), where did you extract it to? I don't see a "saved_games" folder, only data and data_default folders.brwnbear wrote:1. Emails are all empty

you probably need to find the right folder for the game. Try searching for the folder "ballparks" and that should let you know where OOTP is located.

Re: File Up!
Since I deleted 10 completely before installing 12 to get a fresh start, do I have to go throug all that hullabaloo like last time or can I just download the file, open it in the game and we are good?
Last time I remember downloading uniforms, player cards, all kinds of stuff before actually "playing"

Upload=export? If so, I was wondering what changes, if any, we need to make before exporting.brwnbear wrote:

Either way, you don't have to download all of that stuff.Cnasty wrote:Last time I remember downloading uniforms, player cards, all kinds of stuff before actually "playing"
I never did when I had to reinstall, and I really don't even notice the difference.
Unless you really like those kind of details.

I'll just hope it works first with the new file and then if it does I'll get all fun with details and such.

So the link to the instructions is up to date and we need to do that first?
Re: File Up!
so i put my NDLB folder inside "Saved_games" in OOTP 12 and its saying I have no leagues created?
edit: im an idiot

Re: File Up!
after I extracted all the files to the saved_games folder, I didn't have a NDLB.lg folder. So I created a new folder called NDLB.lg in the saved_games folder. Then I had to cut and paste the files that I extracted into the folder I created. After I did this, I was able to open up the game and see our league. Alittle confusing, but it works.
Re: File Up!
that was exactly the problem, i forgot to add the .lg to the folder.Baker wrote:after I extracted all the files to the saved_games folder, I didn't have a NDLB.lg folder. I tried uploading cause I did arbitration, "could not upload file - error -201: connect error"
Re: File Up!
i assume the reason were having issues is cause all the ftp stuff is to votethegoat? and not ndlbaseball.com?
Re: File Up!
I put my zipped folder in the saved games folder before extracting it. If I don't it does not save correctly. Just an FYI.
Re: File Up!
Mine worked just fine.
